With this move, the same cable will be used both for Apple products and for Android. USB-C is the cable that is being used recently in many laptops and android phones such as Samsung Galaxy S9, Google Pixel 2 and OnePlus 6.

It is the iPad Pro that has the USB-C port and the Backup Battery Lightning uses this same port launched in 2014.

The latest change Apple has made regarding refill cables was in 2012 when it removed the original 30-pin, with a lighter filler that was first used on iPhone 4.

Users of modern technology devices have been well received this news since they no longer need a charger to charge the batteries of different devices.
