In order to mark the 50th anniversary of the DB4 GT Zagato model, Aston Martin and Italian manufacturer Zagato in 2011 introduced the sports model called Aston Martin Vantage 12 Zagato, which was available to consumers from mid-2012.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

At the time, the price of this sports model was 400,000 euros and it was said that it would be produced in a limited series of 150 units.

Almost a decade later, the Aston Martin Vantage V12 Zagato is returning to the stage to mark the 100th anniversary of the Zagato. The new, handmade model is called the Aston Martin Vantage V12 Zagato Heritage Twins, which will be available in a limited series of only 38 units (19 in the Coupe version and 19 in the Speedster version).

Zagato has implemented this project with the Swiss company AF Racing, which is traditionally a motorsport partner with Aston Martin, where on this occasion the Swiss have launched their own R-Reforged brand.

In terms of engine, the Aston Martin Vantage V12 Zagato Heritage Twins comes with a 5.9-liter V12 engine with a capacity of 600 horsepower, as well as a structure made of carbon fiber. Also, the new Vantage V12 Zagato is 4.4 meters long, 1.8 meters wide, has a 2.6-meter wheelbase, and comes with a 19-inch wheel set.

The price of this new sports model has not been revealed yet, but the first deliveries are expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year.

2021 Aston Martin DBX

2021 Aston Martin DBX SUV: Price, Specs and other Details

Another super luxurious SUV

If we take a look at the brands of British manufacturers, at first glance it seems that the English have luxury in the blood, along with a first-class sports “dell”.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

It is logically expected that each of them will consider expanding the offer to increase the clientele that is becoming more difficult (even more confusing) every day due to an endless multitude of models on the market.

Aston Martin, in this regard, has probably been very “reserved” as it has historically produced sports cars with a clear positioning, but it seems that (like everyone) has not resisted expansion in the SUV segment. We’ve talked before about the DBX model (then just a prototype) that is finally getting ready for potential customers. Already Bentley Bentayga or Lamborghini Urus customers seems to have one more opportunity.

The Aston Martin DBX can be classified in the large SUV category. 5.04 m long, 2m wide and 1.68m high, it manages to maintain a sporty look thanks to the care of the designers. They have also managed to preserve the details that emphasize the identity of a real Aston Martin like the great dominant masquerade from the front or the “goose tail” to tell the truth does not seem to us the most realized point.

From the inside, a curated environment stands out down to the smallest detail with materials of a rare quality and artisanal level symbolism. Used wood, leather upholstery or Alcantara, metal or glass used leave a very good impression.

The technological character is expressed by the digital presence on board and a 64-tone lighting game for any mood. Despite this, in this car Led screens are just a complementary element, but not the main one of a first-class interior!

Being a SUV, DBX offers ample luggage for every (wealthy) family. The luggage compartment has a minimum capacity of 632 liters and the English manufacturer also offers a series of travel accessories from the signed suitcases Aston Martin to the equipment to feed the dog.

Of course with this jewel that should cost around 200,000 euros as the starting price (not yet officially confirmed) not everyone has the heart to make noise on the ground outside the asphalt, but Aston Martin guarantees that the DBX is ready for adventure during the 8,000 km phase of testing. Integral traction is electronically controlled based on road conditions while depreciation enables +/- 5cm depending on the guide and road we are traversing.

The engine, one of the strengths of any Aston Martin is the 4,000-cubic-foot V8-powered AMG-derived unit with 550 horsepower in 6,500 rpm mode while torque is 800 Nm in 2,200 rpm mode. Although this English “beast” weighs 2,245 kg, the performance is from a sports car. For acceleration from 0-100km/h, takes only 4.5 seconds, while the maximum speed is 290 km/h.

As always, luxury and sports car manufacturers “forget” to talk about consumption. Or maybe you are thinking of committing the sin of a gas plant?

Although the Geneva Motor Show has been canceled due to coronavirus, it has not stopped some of the most popular manufacturers from presenting their models for this week.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Among them is the Aston Martin, which brought the V12 Speedster, which is limited to only 88 units. The combination of DBS Superlaggera and Vantage parts made with aluminum has created a special platform that is expected to be used in other cars in the future.

This is not the highest speed a car can reach, but it should be noted that this car has neither a roof nor a windscreen.

The overall shape of the car reminds you of racing cars. The driver and passenger sit in the seats located inside the separate oval elongated openings in the Speedster’s body. The Speedster was inspired by Aston Martin racing cars of the past, such as the 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 that won the Le Mans race. The Speedster has no windshield in front.

As with all supercars, the Aston Martin V12 Speedster is not cheap, with a starting price of one million euros, and is expected to be launched next year, with the same good looks. The car body is made almost entirely of carbon fiber.

British premium sports car maker Aston Martin has unveiled a convertible version of Vantage.

2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante debuts: Aston Martin's most fastest car

2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante debuts: Aston Martin’s most fastest car

Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante was officially unveiled, with a maximum speed of 340 km/h, making it the fastest convertible car in the history of the English brand.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The roof opens for 14 seconds and closes for 16, which can be operated from inside the car, or by means of the keypad up to 2 meters from the car.

Accompanying the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Coupe, the Volante engine is a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 with 715 horsepower and 900-nm rotary power, combined with eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Despite having a fabric roof instead of what the coupe model has, and the extra power it needs to chassis to compensate for the solid roof, the maximum speed remains the same.

Equally the 3.4 seconds time for a 100 km/h speed remains the same, while the 80-160 km/h speed is reached for 4.2 seconds using the fourth gear.

The aerodynamic performance of the car has not changed at all from the Coupe. At a maximum speed of 340 km/h, Volante produces 170 kg of propulsion.

Inside the cars there is a design similar to that of the Coupe, although buyers can choose 1-6 different variants.

Prices start at €285,382, about € 25,000 more than the Coupe. When it launches, its nearest rival will come in the form of the Bentley Continental GT Convertible, which starts at a price of 201,900 euros.

Aston Martin Rapide E Revealed: The first completely electric car From Aston Martin

Aston Martin Rapide E Revealed: The first completely electric car From Aston Martin

Aston Martin has already made the official presentation of the first electric car. The Rapid E instead of the V12 engine now has a 800V, 65kWh battery system and two rear engines with 604 horsepower.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Only 155 units of this machine will be produced, “at prices available in the application”, and the company gives us some reasons why we should buy such a car.

The battery pack is located directly in place of an ordinary fuel engine, and may charge up to 480 km per hour when plugged into an outlet that can transmit 100kW or more.

In addition to the state of the Tesla Ludicrous Mode, the Rapid E comes with a maximum speed of 250 km/h, while reaches the speed of 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

The electric power can be used in three steering modes: GT, Sport and Sport +, with the sense of direction and the differential built-in to suit the maneuverability of the AMR with gasoline.

There are many carbon fires inside the car. The analog controls are replaced by a 10-inch digital display that shows the status of the charging, power level, real-time power consumption, and more.

You can also get information via a vehicle-related application that may remind you where you parked the car.

Another major difference between this car and the previous one is the aerodynamic design. Since no need for a discharger, the rear diffuser size has increased.

Since no need for cooling as before, the air flow through the body is reduced to improve the range, which is about 320 km with the WLTP test.

This is a major step for the company in the world of electric cars that is developing every day more and more.
