Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G is available in stores all over the world today. The iFix team did not hesitate to research what is inside the phone as soon as possible.

One of the biggest changes is the adoption of a design element from the iPhone that will not be easy to repair.

Like the iPhone X, the Note 10+ places the motherboard in the upper half of the phone. While this design allows for the deployment of a wider battery, it requires the implementation of cables between the main board and the secondary board.

These secondary blocks access the battery. They can be positioned on the side of the phone but that add repair challenges.

Speaking of repairs, iFixit gives the Note 10+ a 3 out of 10 rating for repairability. The phone has a new vibration motor which breaks Samsung‘s trend with round motors. This means that Samsung is taking haptic feedback more seriously. And of course there is no 3.5mm headphone port or Bixby button.
