In an effort to provide more control over personal information, the company will offer the option of automatic deletion between 3 and 18 months.

Google said the new tools will be available in the coming weeks. The online search giant faces criticism of the personal data it collects. In November, he was accused of tracking users even when manually history was off.

Currently, location tracking and history retention may be temporarily paused. But in the coming weeks, users will have the option to delete them automatically.
