What you need to know about monitors and 4K TV

4K TVs offer the best viewing experience today compared to any other standard

It is one of the screens with the highest pixel density on the market at 8 million. Unlike 1080p or 720p screens where you can spot pixels in an image, 4K screens offer a view that looks like you’re watching it from a window, not a TV.

What you need to know about 4K TV?

4K refers to high-quality image technology, device, or content. 4K describes in two screen resolutions: 4096 × 2160 and 3840 × 2160. The largest has been introduced in digital cinemas while the second is more present in consumer devices like TV screens and computer monitors.

Resolution 3840 × 2160 is referred to as Ultra-Hight Definition or UHD while 4096 × 2160 is 4K true. But 4K UHD is used to describe both standards.

Regardless of the screen size you are watching, 4K offers to games, movies, and TV fans a unique experience. This experience is possible thanks to the doubling of the number of pixels you find on a normal 1080p TV.

The true 4K quality is noticeable on large screens such as the 55-inch TV. There is a debate today as to whether the human eye can read every detail that 4K offers. However, the difference between 4K and 1080p is easily discernible to the human eye, however, the quality of the content is also important.

It is advisable to see 4K content on 4K screens but they look just as great on 1080p or 720p screens. 4K resolution will automatically convert to 1080p or 720p. However, viewing 1080p or 720p content on 4K screens will simultaneously expose their poor quality due to the lower resolution.
