Acer brings the 55-inch 4K OLED monitor for gaming

The Acer Predator division during the CES 2020 fair has introduced the 55-inch CG552K gaming monitor with 4K OLED display, adaptive sync support, NVIDIA G-Sync and 120Hz refresh.

The monitor has light sensors which optimize the lighting depending on the local environment, as well as a proximity sensor which activates the monitor when detecting the presence of the user, reports Engadget.

The CG552K has a variety of connectivity options, including three HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort v1.4s, one USB-C and two USB-type-A ports. Two 10W speakers are also available. The display has support for 98.5% DCI-P3 color spectrum and 400 nights of brightness.

Acer has also announced Predator X32 and X38 monitors. The Predator X32 has a 32-inch 4K display, 144Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate. It has 1440-nits brightness, VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, and connectors include three HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 and four USB-C ports, as well as 4W speakers.

The Predator X38 has a 37.5-inch UWQHD + (3840 x 1600p) curved display, with support for NVIDIA G-Sync. The monitor has VESA DIsplayHDR 400, Delta E certification.

About pricing and availability:

  • The Predator X32 arrives during the second quarter at a price of €3299;
  • The X38 will be available in April for €2199;
  • The 55-inch CG552K gaming model will go on sale from the third quarter, priced at 2699 euros.
