The Ryzen 9 3900X from AMD, which was introduced at Computex, is a processor of this magnitude at a very high speed. With the 7-nanometer AMD architecture, this 12-core processor is designed for computing.

It is said to work much better than the Intel Core i9-9920X processor. Though its performance has increased, the chip has even less battery-powered expense 105W TDP.

However, the biggest advantage of the Ryzen 9 3900X is the very economical price. Compared to the Intel i9-9920X, which costs $1,200, the AMD processor costs only $499, making it even more desirable.

New Ryzen processors promise more performance and cost less than Intel’s processors

The third generation of AMD Ryzen processors has arrived, including a 12-core processor for Ryzen 9 3900X.

The company actually introduced five new processors will come out on July 7th. Prices range from $199 to $499, all based on the new 7-nanometer Zen 2 architecture with PCIe 4.0 support, which doubles the PCIe 3.0 bandwidth.

At the top of the line as mentioned above is the Ryzen 9 3900X. This 12-core processor has a basic frequency of 3.8Ghz and a 4.6Ghz turbo. Then AMD brought a couple of Ryzen 7 processors, the 3800X 399 dollar model and 3700X 329 dollars. Both have eight core but with frequencies 3.9 and 3.6Ghz respectively.

Among them there is a big difference in TDP where 3800X has a value of 105W and 3700X at a value of 65W.

Finally, there are two processors, Ryzen 5 3600X and 3600. AMD has provided some statistics on processor performance. The company says the 3900X flagship has similar performance to Intel Core i9-9920X despite its cost to half.

On the other hand, AMD says Ryzen 7 3700X is faster than Core i7-9700K, which costs nearly $50 less with test on core and all cores testing.

All new processors are based on the AMD X570 chip that uses the same AM4 socket as its predecessor processors. Theoretically it means that you can replace old Ryzen processors with a new one without changing the board.
