Camera Comparison: iPhone 11 Pro vs Galaxy Note 10 vs Google Pixel 3 vs Huawei P30 Pro

Camera Comparison: iPhone 11 Pro vs Galaxy Note 10 vs Google Pixel 3 vs Huawei P30 Pro

Photography is one of the biggest battles when comparing high-end smartphones – especially between some of the most “powerful players” of Android and of course the iPhone 11 Pro.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

To see which smartphones have the best cameras, Androidcentral has done some testing: where the iPhone 11 Pro competes with the Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 3 and Huawei P30 Pro.

Best Camera Phone? iPhone 11 Pro vs Galaxy Note 10 vs Google Pixel 3 vs Huawei P30 Pro

With different launch times, it is known that there is never a better moment to compare the phone cameras. In this form, the Pixel 3 and P30 Pro are included in comparison with the soon-to-be-released Google Pixel 4 and the newly launched Mate 30 Pro. Comparisons of new phones will certainly be included.

Right now, we have these four phones, considered to have the best cameras of the best. Here’s how they compare. Phones sets left and right, bottom and top: iPhone 11 Pro, Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 3 and Huawei P30 Pro. In the images posted below with telephoto and wide angle, the Pixel 3 drops but the other three phones remain at the same level.

#1. Daytime shoots

In iPhone photos, there is a very good balance between displaying a nature image while still being visually interesting. Pixel 3 is much more natural, though it would be much more fun to color in certain parts.

All three phones can take good pictures, though the iPhone 11 Pro is the most durable of them all when shooting in daylight.

#2. Low light photos

Note 10 is clearly the weakest when shooting photos in low light, not having the capability of specialized photo editing like the rest of the group.

P30 Pro has done a similar processing as HDR, in light and color, but it has not been capable even in light enough. It can be said that phones and wide-angle images in low light are still quite weak.

Which camera is better?

Generally, these phones have good cameras when taking photos in normal light. When there are not comparisons with pictures placed side by side, it is difficult to find any flaws. Portrait mode can always be enhanced, while full daylight shooting can be done well by all phones.

While the iPhone 11 Pro is very stable and accurate, Note 10 offers contrast and attention, Pixel 3 is neutral and precise, and the P30 Pro is balanced between the Note and iPhone.

Galaxy Note 10 receives a grade 3 out of 10 for repair

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G is available in stores all over the world today. The iFix team did not hesitate to research what is inside the phone as soon as possible.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

One of the biggest changes is the adoption of a design element from the iPhone that will not be easy to repair.

Like the iPhone X, the Note 10+ places the motherboard in the upper half of the phone. While this design allows for the deployment of a wider battery, it requires the implementation of cables between the main board and the secondary board.

These secondary blocks access the battery. They can be positioned on the side of the phone but that add repair challenges.

Speaking of repairs, iFixit gives the Note 10+ a 3 out of 10 rating for repairability. The phone has a new vibration motor which breaks Samsung‘s trend with round motors. This means that Samsung is taking haptic feedback more seriously. And of course there is no 3.5mm headphone port or Bixby button.

You can see the complete dismantling of the phone in this link.

Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ officially Launched

8 years ago Galaxy Note is a phone that cannot be ignored. The original model, introduced at IFA 2011, looked huge, full 5.3-inches.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Nearly a decade on and hundreds of millions of smartphones sold, the line has undoubtedly transformed the way we view and use mobile devices.

Certainly the Stylus pencil has not become an indispensable element for devices other than the Note series, but the entire industry has changed its mind about large screens and productivity thanks to this phone.

Apple also came one day, and today the average screen size of a smartphone is 5.5 inches. With the battle of big screens winning, Samsung has another in hand.

The smartphone market has stalled, even retreating, and for the first time companies have a difficult mission in their hands. How can they make their products constantly compelling?

The problem is that companies have been the ones to set themselves up with shoulder on the wall. Smartphones have become so good that users do not have to switch phones so often. Top models have become very expensive starting at $1,000. Between the S series and the Note Samsung has left a cycle of only six months and these phones are used to bring the latest technologies. Also the differences between them have been eliminated and the S Pen is the only option that changes them.

With the introduction of the Note 10 and Note 10+, Samsung is trying to give users a secondary flagship. Like the S line, the Note is split into two different devices (actually three if we consider the 5G model). The standard Note 10 model took a step back in screen size.

The base model switches from 6.4 to 6.3 inches but why? Samsung believes that a smaller screen makes the device easier to use. But seeing that the Note 10+ has the same size of the Note 9, users immediately realize how compact the Note 10 is.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_5″]

The ratio between the screen and the body of the smartphone is impressive. Today the 5.3-inch is nothing compared to the size of the 2019 screens, but then it was a big step forward.

Perhaps you’ve seen endless leaked images of phones that have proven to be true. It’s a beautiful phone. Samsung has worked harder with the curves, leaving an almost an inexistent frame. The camera cutout on the S10+ has been removed in favor of a small hole in the center of the screen. Samsung said it has given up to a dual selfie camera to upgrade a single camera through software and artificial intelligence.

One very important detail missing is the 3.5mm headphone jack. After making fun of Apple for several years, the company is doing what the iPhone giant did three years ago. Large batteries are back with the 3,500 mAh on the Note 10 and the 4,300 mAh on the Note+.

To help eliminate the 3.5mm headset, Samsung has included a pair of USB-C AKG headphones in the package that will cost you. Also the dedicated Bixby button is no longer available and the virtual assistant can be activated by holding down the power button.

Samsung is still investing in virtual assistant but overall it has reduced the momentum of the early days. On the back of the phone is a 16-megapixel super wide-angle camera, a standard 12-megapixel wide-angle and a 12-megapixel telephoto.

The Note 10+ also adds a Time-of-Flight sensor to add image depth. It’s a small difference between the two phones for the screen and the battery.

The camera software has some interesting extras like bokeh effect on video. Using gyroscope and machine learning, the camera system reduces the vibration in the picture. The TOF sensor brings a 3D camera scanner and users can scan an object and convert it into a moving design element.

Zoom-in Mic is another very interesting option which uses microphones to direct the sound source to the point where you have focused the camera. Night Mode has been added to the 10-megapixel selfie camera for low-light selfie.

The stylus S Pen has adopted a solid unified design. Samsung has made it possible to create customized gestures with this device. DeX continues to be a part of Samsung conferences. The company says the data copying function between Note and a Mac or PC with drag-and-drop has been improved. Still the DeX brand is blurry at this point and looks more like a show than a real product.

Finally inside the Note 10 and Note 10+ you’ll find a Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM on the Note 10 and 12GB of RAM on the Note 10+. Both versions have 256GB of basic storage while the Note 10+ has 512GB.

Orders are open from today, August 8th. The phones are in stores on August 23. The Note 10 starts at $950 and the Note 10+ starts at $1,100. Packaging for today’s orders are even the Charging Duo adapter and the Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch.

A 5G variant of the Note 10+ will also be sold at the same time, though it will be a franchise for operators that have launched 5G in the US or elsewhere in the world. Price for this model was not announced by Samsung.

Confirmed by Samsung, the Note 10 comes in two sizes

Confirmed by Samsung, the Note 10 comes in two sizes

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus in New York tomorrow. But if you don’t want to wait until tomorrow to find out more, the Note 10 suffered another leak this time from Samsung’s own marketing materials.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

According to them, the Note 10 will have a 6.3-inch display while the Note 10 Plus will have a 6.8-inch display, both with “hole-punch” cameras. As expected the S-Pen will have some new tricks like gestures in the air and switching from one camera lens to another.

Also Note 10 is supposed to have super fast charging technology which delivers several hours of battery life with just a few minutes of charging.

But marketing materials do not go into details of every specific but says that the Note 10 can capture beautiful portraits, beautiful landscapes and clear photos at close range and at any level of light.

Finally the phones have “Audio Zoom” microphones that will work to hear audio coming from the object you have focused on in the video. LG offered a similar feature to the V30 a few years ago but this Note 10 is expected to perform better.

Galaxy Note 10 may have a 'wiser' camera than the Galaxy S10

Galaxy Note 10 may have a ‘wiser’ camera than the Galaxy S10

Samsung phones typically create impressions on the front of the camera and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series is likely to be no exception, with the latest rumors pointing to ‘Smart ISO‘ and ‘AI-ISO‘.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

What exactly is ‘Smart ISO’ or ‘AI-ISO’?

For now we can only speculate, but the names sound like ISO will be enabled by AI artificial intelligence, allowing it to automatically adapt to what you are running, and potentially meaning it can learn your preferences with over time, so the phone is better able to automatically select an ISO with which you are satisfied.

ISO is the sensitivity measurement of the camera sensor, which is useful for ‘viewing’ light or extra colors. This can especially help to improve low light pictures, where a higher ISO can usually be useful.

LetsGoDigital also speculates that the concentration in ISO may mean that the Galaxy Note 10 will offer a larger amount of ISO than 50-800 offered by the Samsung Galaxy S10 series.

This is a credible theory, given that rival phones such as Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium and Huawei P30 have a much larger range, but now it’s just speculation. We will know more soon, as we expect Samsung’s future lines of equipment to be launched on August 7.

New leak reveal full specifications of Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+

So far we have seen many details about the battery’s capacity and future S-PEN features of Note10, but the new leak reveal all the specifications for Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

These smartphones will be launched in just over two weeks, August 7, at a special event in New York City.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will feature a 6.3-inch screen with 1080p resolution which, due to the high ratio, will be FHD+. The panel will be an Infinity O unit with a hole that accommodates the front camera. Note 10 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Samsung Exynos 9825 processor, depending on the region, and will be supported by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The triple camera at the back consists of a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP system and the battery is estimated to be 3.500mAh, with 25W fast charging capability.

By contrast, the Galaxy Note10+ will feature a 6.8-inch screen with 1440p resolution, which corresponds to QHD+. Everything is identical to the regular unit, in addition to 12GB of RAM, an additional ToF sensor for the camera system and the largest 4500mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Galaxy Note 10 will be the fastest phone that Samsung has ever produced

Galaxy Note 10 will be the fastest phone that Samsung has ever produced

We are expecting to see a lot of impressive technology on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, but so far it did not include a completely new processor.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Samsung usually uses the same processor at the main entries of both Galaxy Note and Galaxy S brands. However, it may seem to change this year, according to a leaked online result.

According to the Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note Plus will be powered by the Exynos 9825, an Exynos 9820 update. Attached to 8GB of RAM, the new processor seems to be a real powerhouse.

Ice Universe has posted on Twitter a landmark that allegedly reveals the level of performance we can expect from the Galaxy Note 10.

If the leak is correct, we can expect Geekbench results of 4,495 and 10,223 in single and multi-core tests which are higher than any other Android phone.

The iPhone XS and XS XS Max, which are powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic processor, reach 4,798 and 11,259 in the same single and multi-core tests at Geekbench 4.

Evaluation results are designed to help users compare performance across devices across different platforms. So regardless of the processor’s brand and operating system, the higher the Geekbench’s score, the better.

Samsung will unveil Galaxy Note 10 on Aug. 7, though we already know most of the device’s secrets.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Just as the fact that it will come in two sizes, each of which represents a triple camera network at the back – it is rumored that the larger Note will get an additional camera sensor. A new report says that Note 10 will feature a ToF camera on the back.

ETNews said in mid-May that Samsung is providing ToF lens supplies to the Galaxy Note 10, a camera technology that can provide a variety of features that can use depth information, portrait modalities, and 3D face recognition for reality added (AR).

Samsung has already used ToF lenses on a 2019 device such as the Galaxy S10 5G that is available for purchase in some markets where 5G networks are launched.

How will Galaxy Note 10 look like it? These are the clearest images we have

On Friday Samsung warned that the company’s profit could fall further in the second quarter of 2019 to $5.6 billion.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

These digits are a drop of 56% and to make things worse this statistic includes the $700 million reparation for Apple because it did not order OLED displays for iPhone as predicted in the deal with Samsung.

Samsung’s chip business has hit a boom, and the Galaxy S10 series had to help the falling smartphone division. Considering the fact that the Galaxy Note series does not even come close to Galaxy S sales, we are not sure how much contribution to the finances of Samsung will deliver Note 10 and Note 10+ this year.

What we are sure is that the phone is starting to take shape and will be the most impressive of this year by Samsung. Some photos published by an insider reveal in detail how the Galaxy Note 10 can “resemble”.

> Check Out: The Galaxy Note 10 debut finally has a date

When Samsung looked at Apple launching an initial model of iPhone along with flagships in 2018, the Korean giant adopted this strategy rapidly. The same strategy applied when it introduced the Galaxy S10e to challenge the iPhone XR and will do it with the Note 10 series. Top-ranking phones have become so costly that companies are offering “shrinked” models.

So instead of introducing a Galaxy Note as it did every year, this time the company will sell a Galaxy Note 10 and a premium Galaxy Note 10+.

Both models look identical at first, but you can see them from the back. The Galaxy Note 10 has a LED light attached to three rear lenses while Note 10+ has a Fourth TOF (Time-of-Flight) sensor and an additional sensor. The plus version is expected to have even bigger screens.

Note 10 and Note 10+ phones will debut in New York on August 7.
