RedMagic 5G

RedMagic 5G is the world’s first gaming phone with a 144Hz display

This refresh rate is standard today for gaming monitors

In 2020 you can’t be a flagship smartphone unless you have a high-refresh screen and a new standard has already been set. RedMagic, a subsidiary of ZTE Nubia, launched the latest gaming phone and has a 144Hz display.

What about other key specs of RedMagic 5G?

This refresh rate is standard today for gaming monitors. The screen has a size of 6.65-inch 1080p OLED. Powered by the most potent processor on the market today, the Snapdragon 865, comes with 5G technology, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The specifications of the smartphone are complemented by Android 10 from the box, 4,500 mAh battery and 55W charge. Normally no one would buy a gaming smartphone to take pictures but RedMagic has three rear cameras where the main one is the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor. It even has a 3.5mm headphone port and stereo speakers.

Being a gaming phone, the air conditioning system is among the most advanced you can find today on a smartphone. In addition to liquid cooling, there is also a fan that draws hot air to the bottom of the phone. During an intense game it becomes noisy.

The phone has buttons at the top that can be configured to perform various functions. Along with RedMagic, the company sells the phone along with commands and joystick. At the back there are colorful LED lights because it is a gaming phone. The 144Hz screen is super sweet visually.

RedMagic 5G Price and Availability

The RedMagic 5G costs $579 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of memory and $649 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory. It will also be sold in Europe starting April 21.

Nubia Red Magic 3 with Snapdragon 855, 48MP rear camera, internal fan launched

Nubia Red Magic 3 with Snapdragon 855, 48MP rear camera, internal fan launched

Chinese phone maker Nubia has revealed the latest gaming phone and packs the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor that will empower most of the 2019 premium phones, of course there are some interesting details to put it away from the flock.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

First of all, despite the familiar processor, Nubia has decided to include a cooler inside the phone.

The cooler can rotate up to 14,000 rpm and has an IP55 rating to prevent dust from entering.

It should be enough for 30,000 hours of continuous use.

The camera is the most interesting thing – extraordinary for a gaming phone.

The main f / 1.7 camera with 48 megapixels is supported by a 16-megapixel f / 2.0 secondary, which looks pretty good despite the lack of optical image stabilization.

But the main feature here is that the camera can shoot video at 8K.

Nubia Red Magic 3 will be coming to Europe in May. There is no information on prices outside of China.

The 64GB ROM and 6GB of RAM version cost around 333 pounds while the 256GB storage and 12GB of RAM comes in around 492 pounds.

Xiaomi to launch Black Shark 2 gaming Smartphone on 18 March

It is the successor to the Xiaomi Black Shark and is likely to be called Black Shark 2. The company has now officially confirmed that this smartphone will be launched on March 18 in China.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Confirmation comes through an image that the company has posted in Weibo, the Twitter equivalent in China. The image confirms that the new generation gaming phone will be launched on March 18th.

Reports suggest that this phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 platform, with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space.

There may be another configuration with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. Like the existing Black Shark Helo model, there may also be a variant that has 10GB of RAM.

Moreover, there is now little known about this device. There may also be a powerful battery, so we expect a capacity of at least 4,000mAh.

Xiaomi can only make the device available in China before it unfolds to other markets across Europe.

The gaming phone, the Razer Phone 2, is officially launched

The concept of gaming phones is a strange thing, because most of these phones tend to bring the same high features, similar to other premium phones. However, if there is a big advantage of the newly launched Razer Phone 2 phone, it would be the device screen.

The gaming phone, the Razer Phone 2, is officially launched

Like its predecessor, the Razer Phone 2 will feature a 120Hz frequency display. This makes it the only phone that displays such a screen.

Also, the Razer Phone 2 seems to be holding the same size and screen resolution. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but when we see phone makers like Samsung and Apple crossing the 6-inch border, it’s hard not to compare.

Other hardware features of the Razer Phone 2 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, 64GB UFS and a microSD card that will support memory expansion. The Razer has also improved battery life for the phone, claiming it will increase it for 10 hours, even at a 120Hz frequency.

There is also support for wireless charging and will also include a new 12MP wide-angle camera, along with the 12MP telephoto lens.
