Huawei unveils the debut date of Mate 30

Huawei unveils the debut date of Mate 30

There has been endless speculation about the Huawei Mate 30 phone, but finally we have something official: the phone launches on September 19 in Munich.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The date was revealed by Huawei Mobile’s Twitter account with a 7-second short video focusing on the smartphone camera.

The invitation reads “Re-think the Possible.” But the big surprise is that Mate 30 phones won’t have Google apps and services thanks to the trade war between the US and China.

It is possible that Google may apply an exception for Mate 30 devices and if not, Huawei will have to rely on its own Harmony OS operating system.

How it all ends up is not known until the phone debuts. But what we expect is a Mate 30 and a Mate 30 Pro. Previously leaked images suggest a rounded space containing rear cameras.

There has also been talk of wireless charging technology, but the main focus will be on software and applications that the Huawei Mate 30 will have. From the data provided by Huawei it is expected a photographic power that will make the difference.

New image leak reveal Huawei Mate 30 with 4 cameras

Meanwhile rumors and leaks continue that give us a better idea of what to expect, but this latest leak seems to be a promotional image that looks interesting.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Recent leaks by the creators of the coils have shown a triple camera system on the new model Huawei Mate 30 Pro, but this promotional image says otherwise.

We can assume it will include an ultra-wide, wide-angle and telephoto camera as well as a 3D sensor or ToF camera. Previous leaks mention that we can get a 1/1.55 “for the main camera, a 1/1.7” for the ultra-wide, and a 5x periscope zoom module for the latter.

There is also information about its charging capabilities and the new Kirin 990 processor. Either way, we have to wait until September 6 to see the Mate 30 presentation.

Huawei Mate X launch delay has been made to advance the processor and camera

Huawei Mate X launch delay has been made to advance the processor and camera

The launch of the Huawei Mate X – the company’s first foldable phone – has been postponed again and would not be revealed in September as predicted, but could happen sometime in November.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Neowin has learned that this phone will make big changes whenever it arrives, and not as we have seen before.

Sources close to Huawei have announced that the launch has been delayed to make the processor and camera more advanced and not that this phone has any problems.

As part of the plans, it is the new Huawei Kirin 990 processor, which is not known for specifics, and the camera used in the Huawei P30 Pro, which captures very good photos in low light.

This is still a foldable phone, and it is rumored that the Huawei Mate X will be very good in this line of phones.

Huawei has begun the research for the 6G system in Canada

We have just seen the new 5G service release, but other companies are considering building a successor and this is the 6G system. One of these is Chinese tech giant Huawei.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

As reported by TechSpot, Huawei has started the research into the creation of 6G in their lab in Ottawa, Canada. Huawei is said to be collaborating with more than 13 universities and research institutes on the project.

“5G is a really a good new technology and we’re trying to make 6G the evolution of 5G,” said Huawei Vice President Song Zhang. With 5G just coming out of service, Huawei predicts that 6G will come out in 10 years, at a time when 5G will be quite popular by then.

Despite the fact that they are developing 6G service, it is the Canadian state that has to decide whether Huawei should use its 5G services technology in the country, a decision that will be taken after the autumn parliamentary elections.

During June, Samsung announced the creation of a research center focused on the creation of the 6G service. Later on, Advanced Communication Research Center was created in addition to Samsung Research.

Also South Korean company LG Electronics, in collaboration with the South Korea Institute of Science and Technology, has also opened a research center, and China has said it will do the first 6G testing in 2020.

Huawei postpones the Mate X debut again

Huawei postpones the Mate X debut again

The company told to TechRadar during an event in China that the launch of Mate X in September was impossible.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

In June when the phone should have arrived, the company said it would launch the phone in September after news that the Galaxy Fold had suffered numerous problems with the folding mechanism.

Huawei’s Mate X will most likely be launched in November with an exact date missing.

TechRadar said Huawei had not provided information on the reasons for the delay. Perhaps the company is trying to avoid a scenario similar to what Samsung experienced with the Galaxy Fold. Or perhaps the company is not sure that ARM and Google will not block technology due to US sanctions.

However the upgraded Galaxy Fold will arrive ahead of the Mate X in the market.

A fourth camera and carbon fiber has been added to the Huawei folding phone

A fourth camera and carbon fiber has been added to the Huawei folding phone

Samsung has made some improvements in the design of Galaxy Fold, which will be released soon and Huawei seems to have done the same with Mate X.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Chinese journalist Li Wei had managed to catch Richard Yu’s CEO at the airport and even fired some Mate X phone pictures in the current state with the upgrades made. A fourth sensor is added to the back of the phone, which is most likely the TOF (Time-of-Flight) sensor as well as the carbon fiber effects.

Also, a larger button to open the phone has been added, which will make it easier for Mate X to fold and open.

The problems that emerged from the Galaxy Fold’s first foldable models, prompted Huawei to immediately review Mate X, the screen-folding phone of the Chinese company. The latter collapses on the opposite side of Galaxy Fold, so from the outside. Huawei, like Samsung, has said Mate X debuts in September.

Last month it was said that the phone was in the final testing and there is nothing but hope for the problems to be addressed. The phone will come with the stock version of Android and of course with 5G.

Huawei’s first 5G phone will not be the one you thought

Huawei‘s plan has been that the first 5G phone was the one with Mate X folding, but a $2,600 last-minute extension of the innovative phone for September changed the company’s plans.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The Chinese giant confirmed that the first 5G phone would not be Mate X, but Mate 20 X 5G and will debut in several countries around the world in July. The Mate 20 X 5G surface is identical to the Mate 20 X with 7.2-inch AMOLED display, 24-megapixel front camera and three rear-facing cameras between 8 to 40 megapixels.

Huawei will offer the 5G version with a smerald color and 5G mark on the rear to differentiate it from other Mate 20 X models.

Inside the 5G version shares the same 7-nanometer Kirin 980 processor as the other standard models. Mate 20 X 5G has the Balong 5000 modem that enables 5G technology coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory as well as the 4,200 mAh battery.

On the other hand another variant with 4G, Mate 20 X has 6GB of RAM, 128GB of memory and 5,000mAh battery.

In the 5G Mate 20 X 5G performance must perform brilliantly in the middle band. Huawei says the phone also supports the first 5G hybrid versions and the latest 5G independent version. Hybrid versions are a combination of 5G and 4G. Along with two standards the 5G phone comes with 2G, 3G, and 4G with support for two SIM cards.
