In terms of appearance, the front has been heavily modified, based on the newer models of the brand. The new F-Type now comes with new headlights, new front hood, modified hood, as well as some minor changes to the rear and new wheels.
The new F-Type also comes with a modern interior, with the latest Touch Pro entertainment and information system (which can be connected to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay apps), and has a digital instrument panel with 12.3-inch screen.
As for the engine, the base version of the new F-Type will have a 2.0-liter Turbo four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 221 kW/300 horsepower, and the 5.0-liter V8 engine with 331 kW/450 horsepower will also be available. The latter is combined with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive system.
Also, the new F-Type can reach speeds of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.4 seconds while maximizing speeds of up to 285 km/h. At the top of the range lies the F-Type R version, which has a capacity of 423 kW/575 horsepower and reaches speeds of 0 to 100 km in 3.5 seconds while top speeds of up to 299 km/h.
F-Type R, in addition to the powerful engine, also features new shock absorbers as well as 20-inch wheels of glossy black aluminum.
The F-Type with V8 engine also features the new Quiet Start feature, which enables the car to start without waking up neighbors.
US buyers will be offered a 3.0-liter V6 engine with a capacity of 283 kW/385 hp, which will be available with the all-wheel drive system.
The new, or facelift, Jaguar F-Type can now be ordered in the UK at a starting price of £54,000 (about 63,000 euros).
