Samsung Galaxy A90 is a mid-range Phone with high-end Specifications

Most of the 5G phones we have seen recently have been flagships of big names like Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G, Galaxy S10+ 5G or OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

But Samsung‘s latest 5G phone is a mid-range phone and belongs to the Galaxy A line.

In recent months the company has introduced other mid-range Galaxy A models that come with high-end options such as four-camera systems in an effort to combat the aggressive competition of Chinese manufacturers.

Such is the case with the Galaxy A90 5G which also has support for the Samsung DeX. Galaxy A90 5G has a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The 6.7-inch display is a 1080p OLED panel with a small “Infinity-U” notch and a built-in fingerprint scanner. At the rear is a triple camera system with a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel super wide camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The battery is 4,500 mAh and is powered by 25W technology. 5G of course makes a difference to phones of the same category as the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. The phone is on sale today in South Korea while the company has not provided details about the price.

Huawei unveils the debut date of Mate 30

There has been endless speculation about the Huawei Mate 30 phone, but finally we have something official: the phone launches on September 19 in Munich.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The date was revealed by Huawei Mobile’s Twitter account with a 7-second short video focusing on the smartphone camera.

The invitation reads “Re-think the Possible.” But the big surprise is that Mate 30 phones won’t have Google apps and services thanks to the trade war between the US and China.

It is possible that Google may apply an exception for Mate 30 devices and if not, Huawei will have to rely on its own Harmony OS operating system.

How it all ends up is not known until the phone debuts. But what we expect is a Mate 30 and a Mate 30 Pro. Previously leaked images suggest a rounded space containing rear cameras.

There has also been talk of wireless charging technology, but the main focus will be on software and applications that the Huawei Mate 30 will have. From the data provided by Huawei it is expected a photographic power that will make the difference.

Soon you will be able to install Windows 10 from the cloud

To date, Windows installation requires a local copy or a saved on a computer or an external memory device such as a USB key.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Soon it may change because Windows will be able to installed from the Internet.

In addition to the new tablet mode, the latest experimental version of Windows 10 for Fast Ring subscribers features a new “Download Windows” option when trying to reset your computer.

A feature available for years on the Mac, you can use the Internet connection to download a new Windows 10 installation from the cloud. So you will no longer need a USB key and space on your computer’s hard drive. But the company said this method will erase everything, including data and applications.

And it should be remembered that this is just an experimental version and you should not blindly trust the fate of the computer to the cloud option. But when it does, it will definitely make life easier for all Windows users.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro Officially Revealed

Xiaomi unveiled the latest phone of the very popular Redmi Note series and just as the Redmi Note 7 had a 48-megapixel camera, Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 64-megapixel sensor.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Two days ago Realme introduced the XT model with the same sensor but Xiaomi has already made the full presentation. Why would you need a 64-megapixel camera? Like 48-megapixel phones, you cannot capture full-resolution photos.

Both sensor designs contain 0.8µm pixels but grouped four together to provide better sensitivity to light. Using this technique a 48-megapixel camera produces 12-megapixel images while with the new 64-megapixel sensor you will get 16-megapixel resolution.

The new sensor is also physically larger. In some situations, with extremely high light, you will want to take 1:1 64-megapixel photos but 16-megapixels will be more used in different situations.

However the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a reason to buy it and the rest of the hardware is what you would expect from an Xiaomi phone. The 6.55-inch 1080p display and four rear cameras where in addition to the 64-megapixel sensor it offers a super wide 8-megapixel and two 2-megapixel assist. Recall that the front sensor is 20-megapixels.

Note 8 Pro has a MediaTek Helio G90T processor with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of memory.

While the Note 8 has a 6.3-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 655 processor, rear fingerprint scanner, four rear cameras but the 48-megapixel sensor replaces the 64-megapixel one. The selfie camera is 13-megapixels and 4,000 mAh battery.

Prices start at $140 for the Note 8 and $195 for the Note 8 Pro.

Malware detected in the popular document scanning app on Android

A very popular document scanning application has been found to contain malware. CamSacnner has been downloaded over 100 million times by Android users.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

However, cybersecurity researchers at Kaspersky said a version of the app contains malicious code that sends ads. The malware may have sent abusive ads and stolen user credentials. Kaspersky researchers said CamScanner has been a legitimate app but the malicious code belongs to a third party that offers in-app ads.

It is unknown if the version of CamScanner for iPhone has been affected. CamScanner said the new version of the app released with the malicious code was already removed. If you have automatic updates enabled, as many people have, there is a chance you will have a version of CamScanner with malware. Better for you to delete and download when the next version is launched and tested by researchers.

Users can also use an antivirus application to see if malicious applications have been downloaded and installed. There has been a significant increase recently in the detection of malware that has infected apps in the Google Play Store.

Meet the new Facebook app that will split Instagram into two

Threads is designed as an accompanying app on Instagram and invites users to share their location, speed and battery life with friends along with typical text messages, photos and videos using Instagram’s creative tools.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The app is being tested internally on Facebook and created specifically for the “Close Friends” list.

In May, Instagram stopped working on the Direct Communication app it has been developing since 2017. At the time, executives said beta testers did not expect the fact that they had to switch from Instagram to a secondary application to send a message.

But Facebook’s interest in building new communication experiences didn’t end there. Perhaps a communication app with close friends may prove more popularity. Today Snapchat plays this role for a large part of its users. Reports indicate that a Snapchat user spends more time inside the app than an Instagram user.

The Verge has also published some photos of the app. Threads main orientation remains sending messages. The main view shows messages with a green dot indicating if your friends are active. If a friend of yours has posted a story, you can view it from the Threads app.

The latter also has a built-in camera that you can use to capture photos and videos and send it to close friends. It is not known when Threads will debut. Maybe Facebook can pull out before launching the app to the public as it did with the Direct app.

But company CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said he sees private communication as his company’s future. Threads is the company’s latest effort to turn this vision into a reality.
