Samsung Galaxy S10 scores 3 points out of 10, regarding the possibility of repair

Because of the high prices, many of us are holding the same phones longer than before, where instead of upgrading every year, we can keep them for up to three years.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

That means we have to take care of our equipment, but we need to make sure that they can be easily repaired if they need repair.

According to a recent iFix test, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will not be the easiest phone to repair. The report has given the phone 3 gloomy points of 10 in terms of repair, citing issues such as a “hard” replacement battery, and a glass attached to the front and back that means more bent great for breaking.

However iFixit notes that the components are mostly modular, which means that they can be replaced individually, as opposed to replacing some components for only one part.

The result of repair may not matter to most people, but it is something to consider if you plan to keep your phone for a long time.

Galaxy S10 is rated as the best Screen 'ever' Smartphone

Galaxy S10 is rated as the best Screen ‘ever’ Smartphone

But one thing that is particularly difficult to test is the absolute quality of the screen, which should be trusted to experts.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

And the expert says the S10 screen is the best ever on a smartphone.

Ray Soneira has tested every important phone, tablet, and laptop series for many years, using all cold calibration measurements, reflection and brightness measurements, and other measurements that go with this work. So when he says the S10 screen is “absolutely amazing and beautiful,” it’s worth considering.

OLED technology has advanced far from the first I’ve encountered in Zune HD – which still works and looks wonderful. Samsung has advanced far beyond this and OLED and has improved many drawbacks, “Soneira said.

Galaxy S10 has the most accurate color screen we’ve ever measured. It’s visually perfect, and almost certainly better than your existing phone, your HDTV, tablets, laptops, and computer monitors, as demonstrated in our full-color metrics. “

Galaxy S10 with the Snapdragon processor performs better than the Exynos model

Galaxy S10 with the Snapdragon processor performs better than the Exynos model

As many may know so far, Samsung‘s main devices usually start with two different processors, depending on the market. Some markets will take the Qualcomm chip, while others will use Samsung’s Exynos.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

While apparently Samsung has done everything it can to ensure enduring user experience, the latest standards do not look very good.

According to the AnandTech team, they have put both smartphones in their standard tests and, unfortunately, the Snapdragon 855 version of the Galaxy S10 has managed to outperform the Exynos 9820 with a considerable margin.

In terms of editing videos using the standard PCMark Work 2.0, Snapdragon varied 6.545 points versus Exynos, marking 5.596.

As far as photo editing is concerned, the gap is even broader, with the Snapdragon model recording 17,496 against 11,412 of Exynos.

Now, these are just test results and do not necessarily create the full reality.

Revealed all the specifications and color options of the Galaxy S10

Every color, memory, and storage option is fully exposed, leaving nothing unknown of for the Galaxy S10 before the launch of Samsung‘s launch event.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The leak comes from reliable tech newsman Roland Quandt, who posted on Twitter yesterday a Tweet that listed four Galaxy S10 models along with their color options and configuration specifications. Here is the full post:

Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus, but also come with full specifications.

6GB of RAM and a 128GB hard drive for the S10E of the initial level puts that smartphone as a competitor with devices like OnePlus 6T and Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, while the S10 Standard 8GB/512GB version looks more versatile for devices like the Huawei P30.

As for the colors, it is very intriguing to see how the green and the two ceramic colors look, as well as the “Yellow Canary” exclusive for the entry level Samsung Galaxy S10E.

However, the only disappointing thing about these leaks is that it does not mention anything about the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G that everyone wants, fueling the fears we have to wait until August to get this device.

Galaxy S10: Samsung confirms massive improvements in battery life and image quality

Galaxy S10 phones sold in the UK, Europe, South Korea, India and other global markets will be powered by Samsung‘s Exynos 9820 processor, while Qualcomm SnapDragon 855 will be used on devices sold in the United States and China.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Before the launch event next month, Samsung has released a long post on their website talking about the advantages of the new phone and some of the new experiences that will enable the device.

According to Samsung, the Exynos 9820 will bring a “new era of mobile experiences” thanks to increased processing power, multi-gigabit internet speeds, and new multimedia features enabled by the new processor.

The post is clearly designed to increase customer interest in the Galaxy S10, highlighting some of the upgrades coming to the new phone.

First of all, the new processor should result in better battery life compared to Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9. According to Samsung, power efficiency is 40% larger compared to the previous generation Exynos processor, which is a big step.

The Exynos 9820 is also the first Samsung system to hold a dedicated AI chip, following closely the steps of the Kirin 980’s Huawei and Apples A12 Bionic.

In addition to the large number of cameras, Samsung has also talked about new capabilities of the image signal processor (ISP) built into the new modem.

According to the company, the ISP will improve the quality of the images.

A picture of three versions of the Galaxy S10 has just appeared on Twitter

It refers to devices like S10E, S10 and S10+, from left to right, in the figure above. However, he did not confirm that the S10E was the nick of the S10 Lite, saying nothing was confirmed until the devices were launched.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

From the picture, it can be seen that the supposed Galaxy S10E will have a dual camera configuration on the back, while those that can be S10 and S10 + are both equipped with a triple camera configuration.

In addition, the S10+ seems to have room for double-facing camera at the front. The S10E and S10 seem to have a single camera ring on the front.

S10E will surely come with a Snapdragon 855 processor, while the international versions S10 and S10 + are expected to come with the Exynos 9820.

The S10 can also have two different storage options, a 64GB model with 6GB of RAM and a 128GB model with 8GB of RAM.

All three devices will be announced at Samsung’s unpacked event on February 20th
