Samsung Brings Notebook Odyssey Laptop With NVIDIA RTX 2080 For Gamers

Almost every computer maker has proven their fate on gaming laptops, but what’s surprising to Samsung is that it has never fired it. This may change with the latest Odyssey in the Notebook series, its first ever machine to support NVIDIA RTX 2080 graphics.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Like the other Notebook with NVIDIA’s RTX, the Odyssey features a 15.6-inch 1080p display that works at 144Hz with GSYNC support. Unfortunately, this is the only resolution that will support for now, but is ideal for players who look after the smooth performance at high pace rates.

As for other hardware, it will feature Intel Core i7 hexacore CPU, up to 16GB of RAM and support for two NVMe SSDs and a 2.5 “hard drive. It will also feature a number of ports, including three traditional USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB-C, Ethernet and HDMI ports.

At this point, Odyssey does not have much to distinguish from the abundance of other gaming laptops in the market, but it is at least a sign that Samsung is improving in building a powerful Notebook. Still no details of the price for the new laptop yet, but expected to be available early this year.

Samsung accidentally confirms the look of the Galaxy S10

Thanks to information from the supply chain, Samsung has accidentally confirmed what the Galaxy S10 looks like.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

In a series of Twitter posts, the Ice Universe has confirmed that the Galaxy S10+ will be almost identical to the size of the Galaxy Note 7 after the announcer has managed to get an official Samsung phone cover.

This comparison is remarkably impressive as the 2016 phone is equipped with a 5.7-inch screen and the Ice Universe says the Galaxy S10 + will squeeze a massive 6.44-inch screen in the same size frame (153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm / 6.04 x 2.91 x 0.31 inches).

The phone wrap also confirms that Samsung will reorganize the Galaxy S10 + cameras, placing them horizontally with a triple improved camera and the Ice Universe notes that loading speeds will also increase.

Galaxy S10 may come with a massive screen of 6.66 inches

Another day, another rumor about the Samsung Galaxy S10. In fact this time, there are two of them. The 5G version of the Galaxy S10 can boast a screen that is very massive, of 6.66 inches. This is more than Note 9 and iPhone XS Max.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

According to the Ice Universe, often reliable, while the standard Samsung Galaxy S10 model may have only a 6.11-inch screen, the best version for early buyers, will have a 6.66-inch screen.

That would make the Galaxy S10 the biggest screen phone from a big company. It will surpass the Galaxy Note 9 and iPhone XS Max, which come with 6.4 inches and 6.5 inches respectively.

However, the excitement around the S10 does not end here because the Ice Universe has also posted that “charging Samsung’s 15 watt phones will become history”, which makes sense, because Samsung’s charging, at least on paper, is lagging behind brands rival Android. For example, the Huawei P20 Pro uses 40W charging

Galaxy S10 models names are revealed

Galaxy S10 models names revealed

Samsung usually launches two versions of Galaxy S every year, with different screen sizes. Now thanks to a post on MobileFun (via Ben Geskin), it appears that some Galaxy S10 names have been detected, including Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10 Edge.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Rumors about the new Galaxy S10 models have claimed that there may be at least 3 different models in 2019, where there may be a cheap model that will feature a flat screen instead of a curved edge screen. This model is expected to be known as the “Lite” model.

However, the Plus and Edge models are a little confusing where Plus is likely to refer to the biggest phone, but at the same time what does “Edge” mean if at least two of the models show knockouts?

Earlier, Samsung had used the Edge label to show which model had a curved display, but now that they are a little too predetermined, it is not known for sure what the name Edge is meant to show.

Samsung is expected to announce their smartphones early in 2019 and probably will not have to wait too long for the official details.

Samsung may be developing processors for self-driving Tesla cars

The self-drive car is one of the famous technology fields that is underway. We are seeing the involvement of all types of companies in this technology, not just the car manufacturers.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The list includes Apple, Baidu and Google, just to name a few, but now a report from Korea suggests that Samsung can also be included.

In a report by The Korea Herald, anonymous sources claim that Samsung may be developing processors for self-drive cars and can work with Tesla in this technology.

The report claims that Samsung has been “aggressively” employing software engineers specializing in autonomous driving technologies, and that it could be part of a new Samsung department.

However, the report notes that as far as Samsung is concerned, their official stance is negligent, where the company has denied rumors about plans for a new business unit for autonomous vehicles or vehicle components such as the aforesaid chip.

But at the same time considering how different Samsung rivals, including LG, are exploring this particular industry, it would not be surprising if Samsung were involved in it.
