Predecessor 710 was used in models such as Galaxy A8s and Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and recently the Qualcomm also launched the 712 model. However, the 730 is a major upgrade.

With eight Kryo 470 core, the processor has 2.2GHz frequency and is based on the 8-nanometer process. Comes with Adreno 618 graphics, a Hexagon 688 processor with tensor accelerator, a Spectra 350 image processor, an X15 LTE modem and Wi-Fi support.

Most of these elements should come to the aid of artificial intelligence tasks.

There will also be a special version for 730G games with faster graphics and 15% more performance. The 730G will provide support for 1440p 1440p phones, 1080p offering 730 and slow motion video at 960fps.

Qualcomm alongside 730 also introduced the Snapdragon 665. Comes with 8-core Kryo 260 with 8-nanometer architecture and Adreno 610. Provides support for triple cameras with up to 48-megapixel sensors.

Qualcomm predicts that the first products with Snapdragon 665, 730 and 730G will be available in mid-2019.
