Intel claims that the 10nm desktop processors will arrive early next year

Earlier this month, Intel confirmed the company’s plans to launch the processors that will include 10nm models, while denying rumors that it will not launch 10nm desktop chipsets, reports Overclock3D.

Now the IT World Canada site report suggests that Intel will be ready to introduce 10nm desktop processors “early next year” and also claims that the company’s production of 10nm chips is progressing well and that Intel is pleased with the stock it has.

However, this does not provide concrete answers to questions about 10nm and to what extent the platform will be available in the market. Will we see the 10nm successor of the i9-9900K processor, or will this be a Broadwell desktop version with limited release?

Also, the question arises as to what will happen to Comet Lake. Rumors are circulating that Intel will release the Comet Lake processor series in early 2020, with up to 10 cores and 20 threades, which will inherit today’s eight-core Coffee Lake models. The question is whether Intel’s 10nm desktop chips will be released with 14nm models, or is this just for mobile processors?

IT World Canada also reports that Intel plans to open a third factory to produce the 10nm processors, which will significantly increase the company’s production capacity.

Nvidia GTX 1660 Super unveils the power of GDDR6 memory

Nvidia GTX 1660 graphics card model had limited memory problems, which prevented the GPU from reaching its full potential with its 1408 CUDA cores. Therefore, Nvidia GTX 1660 Super promises to improve framerate by up to 20 percent, without any change in the GTX 1660 GPU core, reports Overclock3D.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

GTX 1660 Super still has 1408 CUDA cores, with the same base/boost speeds as the standard GTX 1660 model, meaning that all performance improvements to the Super model come through GDDR6 memory implementation.

The 14Gbps GDDR6 memory upgrade enables up to 75% improvement in total memory bandwidth, enabling the GTX 1660 Super to have better memory performance than the GTX 1660 Ti. Nvidia believes that this memory update is enough to enable the GTX 1660 Super to achieve a 50 percent performance improvement over the GTX 1060.

In addition to the GTX 1660 Super model, Nvidia also introduced the GTX 1650 Super model, which also has GDDR6 memory and uses a newer version of the Nvidia GTX 1660 core. This enables the GTX 1650 Super graphics card to have 1280 CUDA cores (same as the GTX 1060), and enables access to Turing NVENC encoding, an option not available on the GTX 1650.

Nvidia GTX 1660 Super graphics cards are already available at a base price of $229, and will be offered by almost all Nvidia partners. The price for the GTX 1650 Super has not been announced.

Quadro RTX 6000 is the most Powerful Graphics Card ever made for Laptops

Quadro RTX 6000 is the most Powerful Graphics Card ever made for Laptops

With the introduction of RTX Studio, NVIDIA is putting RTX gaming cards in line with the costly professional Quadro.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

But now the company is giving creators one more reason to spend even more on the RTX Quadro 6000 graphics card that comes with the ASUS StudioBoook laptop.

With 24GB of high-speed memory and power equivalent to the desktop version, the card version for laptops can break not only a GeForce RTX 2080 8GB but also a Quadro 5000 16GB.

NVIDIA has promised video editing power, 3D rendering and graphics performance equal to the full desktop version of the $6,300 Quadro RTX 6000 card. Graphics card specifications for laptops are missing but the desktop version has 4,608 CUDA cores, 576 Tensor cores and 72 RT cores.

At the same time NVIDIA has developed a new cooling system for laptops which holds the keyboard at ambient temperature. Quadro 6000 RTX graphics card supports 4K 120Hz screens all packed in a maximum 15-inch laptop.

Even the ASUS laptop lacks the price. StudioBook One comes with 9th generation Intel core i9 processors and 4K UHD screens.
