While MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 are less complete, MateBook X-Pro is much more powerful.

The presentation is made after Huawei‘s big sales over the past year, as well as Western countries’ doubts, that there are peacekeepers in these devices that collect data for the Chinese state.

As to the format in general and the screen size, the first models are very similar to Apple‘s MacBook but at cheaper prices.

The cheapest, which is said to be dedicated to young professionals, is the MateBook 13 that costs $1,170, while the MacBook is the cheapest at $1,600. For MateBook 14, you have to pay  $1,300.

At the Spanish convention, the MateBook X-Pro, which has undergone major updates in the second generation, was introduced, making it worth $1,800.

The X-Pro model has the ability to connect to the latest Huawei phone and work together in many programs.

Official: Huawei will launch the new phone, P30, in the coming month

Huawei will be in full alert at Mobile World Congress 2019 later this month, but it looks like the company will not launch the P30 series there. Chinese Conglomerates happen to have a leading position in this market. The company reached over 33 percent of the country’s mobile market last year.

The Huawei P20 and Mate 20 phones have been quite successful there.

The company also sells accessories, tablets, and even laptops in Poland.

Huawei warns the 5G phone, produced by its company's components

Huawei warns the 5G phone, produced by its company’s components

Chinese tech company Huawei announced plans to launch a next-generation phone based on its technology instead of US components, boosting efforts to compete with Western industry leaders in response to Washington warnings that the company might be a risk security.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Huawei Technologies Ltd is spending a lot on developing its own processor technology, an area where US retailers are global leaders. This can help Huawei for the multi-billion-year annual bill for components and the risk of US ship breakdowns.

Huawei’s new device will be the company’s first folding phone and will be unveiled next month at the industry’s largest annual event, the Mobile World Congress, said Richard Yu, CEO of the company’s consumer unit.

The phone is based on Huawei’s Kirin 980 processor and Balong 5000 modem instead of the components of traditional suppliers such as US-based Qualcomm Inc.

Huawei‘s sales and other consumer products showed “no impact” from Western security warnings and rose more than 50 percent last year, Yu told reporters. Huawei has not yet published the 2018 financial results for the entire company.

The displayed designs show the upcoming smartphone,Huawei P30

Thanks to @OnLeaks, we now have the first look at what looks like the upcoming P30 series of Huawei. 3D designers discovered by the announcer, along with an accompanying video, show that the smartphones will hold a triple camera configuration similar to the current generation.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The cameras will also be placed vertically, as in P20 and P20 Pro, instead of the Mate 20 matrix design.

The cameras are expected to include a 38MP core sensor, with at least one of the two remaining sensors that offer up to 5x optical zoom. The selfie camera on the phone will be 24MP.

Surprisingly, the P30 will bring back the 3.5mm headphone jack. There will also be a USB Type-C port at the bottom, the volume movement knob, and the power button on the right of the body of the device.

Huawei sells over 200 million phones in 2018

Huawei sells over 200 million phones in 2018

Huawei has set a new record for itself by transporting more than 200 million phones in 2018, the company said in a statement Sunday.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The Chinese phone maker said the numbers were driven primarily by the success of products like P20, Honor 10 and Mate 20.

Huawei’s phone shipments have risen from 3 million units in 2010, the company added.

Last year, Huawei said it sold 153 million units. The company surpassed Apple in the second quarter of 2018 to become the world’s second largest phone retailer, according to Canalys research company.

“In the global mobile phone market, Huawei has gone from being a ‘different’ statistic to rank among the top 3 players in the world,” the company said in their official statement.

Despite his successes this year, Huawei has still faced some challenges, especially with the US government. In February, US intelligence officials advised Americans not to buy Huawei products for fear of being used to spy on the Chinese government.

In January, AT & T withdrew from an agreement to sell Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and Verizon reportedly pursued their step.

Huawei also launches Mate 20X, with a massive 7.12-inch screen

Huawei also launches Mate 20X, with a massive 7.12-inch screen

In addition to Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, Huawei also launched a 7.12-inch smartphone called “Mate 20X” yesterday. 20X contains most of the regular Mate 20 specifications, but improves them in several key areas.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The most obvious of these is, of course, the screen size, making it more than a tablet than a phone. It is an OLED panel and has a Full HD + resolution, with a 18.7: 9 aspect ratio.

Larger dimensions also imply that Huawei was able to fit a larger battery of 5,000mAh in 20X compared to 4,000mAh of Mate 20. The company claims the phone is 30% more efficient.

Given the features similar to the tablet, Huawei has made some software changes so that using 20X in landscape mode will give a tablet-like UI.

In addition, Mate 20X is very similar to the smallest model, with a Kirin 980 processor that empowers everything. The camera’s configuration is also imitated, with a 40MP main camera paired with a 8MP 2x zoom telephoto lens and a 20MP wide angle lens.

The Mate 20X version of the 6GB + 128GB version will be available in Europe for $899 from October 26th.
