The giant battery inside iPhone 11 Pro Max!

But now the shape of the iPhone 11 Pro Maxs battery has been unveiled, after a Chinese Weibo social network user split it in the middle and found a giant battery – at least by Apple standards.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The battery has 15.04Wh at 3.79V, which is calculated to be 3.968mAh, which is a huge increase over the battery of the iPhone XS Max, which has a capacity of 3.174mAh.

Compared to the 3.500mAh Galaxy S9+, the iPhone 11 Pro May’s battery is ten percent more powerful. As it approaches the 4,100mAh battery on the Samsung Galaxy S10+.

This also shows the reasons why the iPhone 11 is heavier than the previous models, as it should also carry a massive battery. Although split in the middle, the RAM capacity of the iPhone Pro Max has not been revealed.

These are the biggest key differences of the new iPhone 11 models

These are the biggest key differences of the new iPhone 11 models

While their names may look similar, there are some notable differences between them. The most noticeable difference between the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 is definitely the cameras: the high-end Apple phones have three rear cameras while the iPhone 11 only has two.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Also expensive iPhone’s have OLED screens which have higher contrast than LCD screens on iPhone 11.

These are the biggest differences between different iPhone models.

Camera

The improved camera is the biggest difference between the new iPhones and those of last year. Starting with the iPhone 11, Apple’s new color phone has two 12-megapixel cameras each: one with super wide angle and the other with wide angle.

Like the expensive iPhone, it offers Night Mode, Portrait Mode and HDR photos support.

But the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have a third 12-megapixel telephoto camera compared to the 12-megapixel iPhone 11 cameras. As a result they offer advanced 2x optical and 10x digital zoom.

Screen

The other big difference between the new iPhones is that the iPhone 11 has an LCD screen while the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have OLED display. This means that the more expensive models offer higher contrast and deeper black than the iPhone 11.

Of course the screen sizes also vary. The iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch screen, just like last year’s iPhone XR, while the iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch screen and the 6.5-inch 11 Pro Max.

Expensive iPhones also offer HDR support and have more pixels per inch, specifically 458 compared to 326 on the iPhone 11. The screens of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have 2436×1125 and 2688×1242 resolutions, respectively, while the iPhone 11 Pro 1792×828.

The screens of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have a brightness of 800nits while the iPhone 11 only has 625.

Colors and Design

There is another big difference between the phones that you simply notice: their designs and the colors available.

[td_block_9 custom_title=”Check Out” category_id=”1153″ limit=”2″ td_filter_default_txt=”” ajax_pagination=”next_prev”]

iPhone 11 is made of glass and aluminum and has a design similar to last year’s iPhone XR, while the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have glass, steel and matte designs.

iPhone 11 also has more color options. Specifically comes in purple, yellow, green, black, white and red while the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max come in green, silver, gray and gold.

Durability

Apple says the new iPhone’s come with the strongest glass ever mounted on a smartphone, which should make them more durable than their predecessors.

iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max are water resistant at 4 meters depth for 30 minutes. While the iPhone 11 is resistant to the same timeline but only 2 meters deep.

Storage

Apple also offers iPhone 11 and 11 Pro models in different memory capacities. The iPhone 11 comes with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of storage while Pro models come with 64GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage.

Price

As their name suggests, the Pro models are significantly more expensive than the iPhone 11. iPhone 11 costs $700 for the 64GB model, $750 for the 128GB model, and $850 for the 256GB model.

iPhone 11 Pro costs $1,000 for the 64GB version, $1,150 for the 256GB model, and $1,350 for the 512GB model.

iPhone 11 Pro Max costs $1,100 for the 64GB model, $1,250 for the 256GB model, and $1,450 for the 512GB model.

Is the iPhone 11 Pro Max the Heaviest Phone Ever Made?

Is the iPhone 11 Pro Max the Heaviest Phone Ever Made?

Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 6.5-inch screen and is a pretty big smartphone. It is also heavy because it weighs 226 grams.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Although relatively not heavy, it remains one of the heaviest smartphones you can buy today. Probably the heaviest ever produced.

These are some smartphones with the highest weight:

  • Galaxy Note 10 Plus: 195 grams
  • Galaxy S10 Plus: 176 grams
  • iPhone XS Max: 208 grams
  • OnePlus 7 Pro: 204 grams

We can’t find a latest phone that costs as much as the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus has a larger screen than the iPhone 11 Pro Max but still weighs less despite the glass everywhere, the stylus pen and an extra camera. Note 10 Plus also has a larger battery, nearly 1,000 mAh more reportedly.

In recent years the weight of the iPhone has gradually increased with the iPhone 7 Plus weighing 185 grams, the iPhone 8 Plus 204 grams, the iPhone XS Max 208 grams.

People have started complaining about the size of the iPhone that is growing with each generation and becoming less comfortable to hold in their hands.

iPhone 11 new features are already for long on Android phones

Android users for years have been mocking the saying: Apple is “inventing” things by introducing them into the iPhone, the ones that Android phones used two years ago, writes Mashable.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

And as to this saying, it seems they were right. All three new iPhone 11 models unveiled in California on Tuesday night, its officials boast for they’r faster chips and better cameras than previous models.

Anyone who has an older iPhone model, especially those over two years old, will certainly feel the improvement. But the innovations introduced into the new iPhone model have been used on Android phones for some years now.

The LG phone also has features similarity to the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, due to the fact that all three of these models have ultra-wide shooting angle.

The three rear cameras have already become a standard for smartphones over the last three years. Huawei P20 Pro has three rear cameras and was introduced in April last year, just like the LG V40 ThinQ that was introduced in October 2018.

On the other hand, the new feature of the iPhone, the “night sight” Google Pixel has been using for years to shoot high quality photos in a space where there is not enough light. The same goes with the previous models of Samsung and Huawei.

Meet the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max: Everything You Need to Know

Meet the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max: Everything You Need to Know

On Tuesday evening Apple unveiled a new set of phones including the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

These new phones come with a new chip, new cameras and are available in different colors and sizes.

Let’s go into their details.

iPhone 11

Design

iPhone 11 has an aluminum and glass design, and Apple says it is the strongest glass ever mounted on a smartphone. The phone comes in several colors such as: white, blue, yellow, purple, black and red.

This next-gen phone has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display that you just have to touch to wake it up and haptic feedback.

iPhone 11
iPhone 11

Camera

Apple has clearly put a lot of energy into the iPhone 11 camera which consists of two sensors: a 12-megapixel, 26mm f/1.8 and a super wide-angle 12-megapixel f/2.4.

Thanks to the wide-angle camera, users can see what’s beyond the standard camera frame.

On the software side Apple has introduced a new image processor that processes over 1 trillion operations for each photo. The company talked about a technique called “semantic rendering” that changes the brightness of photos based on the subjects it focuses on.

This helps to isolate and improve the quality of portrait photos that can already be taken with animals and not just humans.

The iPhone 11 has a “Night Mode” competing with Samsung and Google. By merging several captured images into a single background combined with software techniques the company can reduce the loss of quality in low light.

Video

In terms of video, the iPhone 11 can capture 4K video at 60fps, deliver slow-motion, time-lapse images. The video app interface has some changes. We can mention the style of recording videos on Instagram where while shooting photos you can hold down the button to make videos.

On the front camera, Apple has a wide-angle sensor that can deliver 4K video at 30/60fps, even slow-motion.

Specs

As usual with a new Apple phone sell the new processor as well. Apple A13 Bionic has the most powerful processor and graphics of a smartphone says Apple. About the battery, the company does not provide details except that the iPhone 11 lasts 1 hour longer than the iPhone XR.

Price and availability

iPhone 11 starts at $699. Orders starts on Friday September 13th while the phone is in stores from September 20th.

iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max

Design

Unlike the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have three rear cameras with steel construction materials and a glass rear cover. The phone comes in four colors: green, gray, white and gold.

The Screen

iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch screen while the Pro Max a 6.5-inch. Both models have 2M:1 Super Retina OLED display, 1,200nits brightness and True Tone technology. In fact the company calls this screen the Super Retina XDR.

Key Specs

Like the iPhone 11, the Pro and Pro Max models come with the A13 Bionic chip. Battery life on the iPhone 11 Pro is four hours longer than the iPhone XS while the 11 Pro is 5 hours longer than the iPhone XS Max.

Both phones come with 18W fast charging technology.

Camera

The one who stole the iPhone 11 show was obviously the camera, or the camera system of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.

Pro models have three 12-megapixel rear cameras each: a 26mm wide-angle, a 52mm telephoto and a 13mm super wide-angle. The latter reaches a 120-degree field of view. The camera system also has a new feature called Deep Fusion. This feature captures nine images which the image processor and the neural engine combine pixel by pixel into one image thanks to the A13 Bionic power.

Apple says the cameras are factory-calibrated so that when switching between sensors, there is no change in exposure, focus and color temperature.

Price and availability

iPhone 11 Pro starts at $999 and iPhone 11 Pro Max at $1,099. Orders starts on Friday September 13th and shipments on September 20th.

Report: The successors of the iPhone XS and XS Max will be called iPhone Pro

Report: The successors of the iPhone XS and XS Max will be called iPhone Pro

As we approach Autumn, all attention turns to Apple. A Bloomberg report provides perhaps the clearest information about Apple’s new phones, including the iPhones “Pro” that will replace the XS and XS Max.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Two of the iPhones will focus on the camera with a triple lens design. For the first time an iPhone will have a wide-angle lens. Along with the new phones, the report also talks about the company’s plans for the iPad, Apple Watch and MacBook Pro.

As previously speculated, this report also says that Apple will introduce the new phones on September 10th.

The Pro models will come with two new technologies: wireless charging of accessories and a wide-angle Face ID. This means that the new iPhone will be able to charge other devices like AirPods and even another iPhone.

While the budget model iPhone XR will be equipped with a second zoom camera and portrait mode. Finally, as expected, the new iPhones come with more powerful A13 processors as well as a component called the AMX that can perform difficult tasks related to augmented reality.

None of the phones have 5G connectivity so you’ll have to wait until 2020 for that to become a reality. Inside will be the A13 processor, as me mention, while the 3D Touch has been removed from the OLED display and replaced with the Haptic Touch, which means the user has to hold the finger much longer.

The size of all three phones looks exactly the same as the current models. The camera is expected to have 3D viewing options as well as other video options, but it’s optional.

“It will have a very smart camera, water resistant and with metallic mat finishes,” the report said.

Regarding the capacity level, it is expected to be built with solid material, which makes it even more water resistant, while metal mat finishes make it much more luxurious.

Bloomberg says that in the event of the iPhone the company will introduce a 16-inch MacBook Pro model but will be similar in size to the 15-inch MacBook Pro because of the thin frames.

Regarding the iPad, the report says that both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models will arrive alongside the opening of schools with a more powerful processor and better cameras. The cheaper iPad will move from 9.7-inches to 10.2-inches.

Security issues with 1.4 billion iPhones and iPads produced from 2011

Apple is having a tough week. Just days after Face ID was hacked, Apple comes up with another extraordinary story that every iPhone and iPad user should know.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The security firm Check Point has found a way to hack every iPhone and iPad running iOS 8 to iOS 13.

This includes the eight years devices, as iOS 8 can be found on the 2011 iPhone 4S. There are about 1.4 billion active iOS devices around the world, and the owners of these phones have to worry.

Check Point has discovered that the iOS built-in Contacts app can be accessed using the industry’s SQLite database. Any searches users make in the Contacts app can lead to the execution of viral codes capable of stealing user data and passwords.

Kuo: All 2020 iPhone models will have 5G network

Although some Android OEMs are beginning to offer smartphones that support 5G networks, Apple is not expected to do so until next year, at least.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

An analyst, who has brought accurate information to Apple’s upcoming moves in many cases in the past, now predicts that the entire iPhone 2020 series will have support for 5G networks.

Ming-Chi Kuo from TF Securities predicts that the three new models of iPhone that Apple will launch next year will have support for 5G networks. He had previously predicted that only two of the three models would receive the 5G modem.

Kuo says Apple is likely to make this decision because of the competition, as some of their Android rivals have brought 5G phones to the market.

Apple has not confirmed anything about their iPhone 2020 until this time. However, it is believed that the three models will display OLED screens in size 5.4 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.7 inches.
