Samsung accidentally posts the official images of the Galaxy S10

What was planned was an official announcement by Samsung for the release of Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10 Lite on February 20th. This breaks Samsung’s tradition of launching Galaxy phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

As for the error, Samsung displayed the new Galaxy S10 design accidentally in an official blog post discussing the new ‘One UI’ wrapper of Android. The images proved much previous speculation about design.

Samsung was quick to see their mistake and replace the images, but not before the originals posted on Reddit.

LG Electronics on Sunday confirmed the launch of their Q9 phone in South Korea later this week. The average smartphone is featuring the key elements found in LG’s major models, such as the AI artificial intelligence camera and LG Pay mobile payment system.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The LG Q9 comes with the 16 megapixel main camera and an 8 megapixel camera.

The battery capacity is 3,000 mAh. The device has a QHD screen of 6.1 inches and has a 19.5:9 ratio.

LG said the Hi-Fi Quad DAC of phones reduces voice distortion at 0,0002% to provide the same sound quality as premium audio devices. LG says Q9 gives bass twice as powerful as existing phones.

The smartphone has also gained the “MIL-STD 810G” certification, meeting the security requirements adopted by the US Department of Defense. It is also waterproof and dustproof.

With a thickness of only 7.9mm, the Q9 is the slimmest phone in LG’s Q series. The back of the device is covered with molten glass that resists fingerprints and stains.

The device will hit stores in South Korea on Friday at $444. It is still unknown when it will be released on the international market.

The cameras are expected to include a 38MP core sensor, with at least one of the two remaining sensors that offer up to 5x optical zoom. The selfie camera on the phone will be 24MP.

Apple stops selling iPhone 7 and 8 in Germany after losing the trial against Qualcomm

The decision said that these two models of iPhone are violating Qualcomm’s intellectual property rights in connection with energy savings in smartphones, reports TechCrunch.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

While the verdict was made last month, Qualcomm was asked by the court to send 1.34 billion euros in security bills before it was implemented, which is now happening. A quick check on Apple‘s German site confirms the change: only the newest models of the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max are listed; iPhone 7 and 8 can not be found anywhere.

Apple has already said it plans to appeal the decision, but as this process takes place, it will not be able to sell the iPhone 7 or 8 on its retail channels.

The ban on Germany is the latest escalation of ongoing disputes between Apple and Qualcomm, which began when Apple first accused Qualcomm of setting unfair prices for their modem processors in 2017.

Qualcomm responded with a series of claims, across the globe. Apple is also facing a similar situation in China where Qualcomm has also won a sales ban on patent infringement issues.

In this case, Apple has not revoke their products and claims that the issue was only present on older devices.

The first real picture of the Galaxy S10 appears

The leaked images of screen protectors and wrappers for the Samsung Galaxy S10 have been many. There are also some pretty convincing designs, but this is the first time we get what’s believed to be the first real image of Samsung’s new devices.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Evan Blass has posted an image on Twitter that is supposed to be the Samsung Galaxy S10.

This is the regular version and we can easily see the Infinity-O screen with a hole for the front camera.

We can also see that the frames on this device will be too much money. Now, we can also assume that only the Plus version will have dual selfie cameras.

The famous messenger has also said that this smartphone will be able to charge other devices through wireless charging, something we’ve already seen at Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

A promotional video shows Nokia 9 with 5 cameras on the back

The main Nokia 9 was rumored to be launched last year, and while initial leaks suggested that the device would debut in Q4 2018, this did not happen.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

HMD instead revealed the Nokia 8.1, but it looks like we can see the Nokia 9 this year.

A promotional video revealed gives us the clearest picture on the device, which has five cameras in the back and the return of the PureView brand.

Of course, PureView was one of Nokia‘s features during Windows Phone days, with devices like Lumia 1020 that provided a 41MP sensor long before Huawei phones. It will be interesting to see what Nokia 9 offers on this front.

Regarding the rest of the device, the video suggests that we will see a 5.99 inch QHD screen with the PureDisplay HDR10 tech like Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 7.1, but with a higher resolution – and the device will feature the Snapdragon 845 together with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
