LG G8S Global Launch Confirmed

Many LG fans have been looking for G8S ThinQ, however, the company has kept it directly out of the reach of the world.

LG introduced this device in Taiwan, where it has remained exclusive for some time now. However, the wait for LG fans is finally over. The company has confirmed it is now launching the LG G8S ThinQ globally.

As the name suggests, the LG G8S is a bit different from the G8. It’s more or less the same device with some minor changes and an extra camera. While the LG G8 has only two rear cameras, the G8S has a standard, wide system, and a telephoto camera at the back. There is also a Z-Camera depth sensor at the front for facial and gesture recognition.

LG also increased the screen size from 6.1 to 6.2 inches but lowered the resolution from 1440p to 1080p. The panel itself is still OLED. Core specifications remain the same, however, with a Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

LG will offer the black and white device later this month in Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Price information will be revealed at launch.

Lenovo Z6 Pro, unveiled in April, is a ‘true beast’, but what was missing was 5G.

The company took care of this at MWC in Shanghai, as the Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition was officially launched.

As for the specifications, the Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition features the same specifications as the original, in addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G modem chip that takes care of the connection.

To distinguish two designs, the company made the Z6 Pro 5G Edition transparent in the back, which could be real transparency, or it can be just an inside material to illustrate what’s under the back cover.

Price details and availability have not yet been made public.

Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i with a 7-nm Kirin 810 Processor Revealed

Huawei revealed three new phones: Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i with a 7-nanometer Kirin 810 processor.

The debut comes at a time when Huawei‘s future is unclear after Google terminated the Android license last month. As a result, it is not known how these phones will be updated. It is also unknown how long they will have access to the Google Play Store if they are also released outside China.

The Kirin 810 processor is found on the Nova 5 model, while the Nova 5 Pro has the Kirin 980 processor as the Huawei P30 Pro and Mate 20. The new processor introduced today by Kirin 810 has eight cores like Kirin 980, but two of the 980 high performance cores are replaced with two small efficient cores.

Also the fate of ARM designers remains unclear because the British chip design house broke up links with Huawei.

Nova 5 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory while the Nova 5 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory. Both smartphones are similar to the 6.39-inch OLED screens, four rear cameras with 48-megapixel, 16-megapixel secondary sensors and the other two with 2-megapixels. Both phones have 3,500mAh batteries.

Finally Nova 5i is a budget variant of the first two with the slower processor Kirin 710. As it stores four rear cameras, the main sensor is only 24-megapixel and has an LCD screen instead of OLED.

Nova 5 costs $400, Nova 5 Pro $436 and Nova 5i $320.

Black Shark 2: Everything About the Xiaomi Gaming Smartphone

The Xiaomi-based sub-brand, Black Shark, has just announced that it is the new smartphone for new games earlier this month – Black Shark 2. Now the mobile phone is ready for Europe, directly from the BlackShark official site .

But how much does Black Shark 2 cost and what are the main specs?

The company decided to create this smartphone in Europe because the mobile gaming segment is now generating more profits than consoles or PC gaming.

The smartphone segment of gaming still has to give some extra steps to see if it is really successful or not.

But how much does Black Shark 2 cost?

Users interested in this device will have to pay €549 or £ 479 (~ $619) for the 8GB RAM / 128GB Storage variant. But if you are interested in the most powerful version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Storage space you have to pay €649 or £559 (~ $729).

According to David Li, vice president of Black Shark Global, this device will provide “an unrivaled experience for European players”.

Black Shark 2 is a cell phone with an HDR AMOLED display of 6.39 inches, low latency (43.5ms) and a typical 430 nits brightness.

The phone has stereo speakers and an X-shaped antenna to ensure that users will never miss the signal, no matter how they carry it. The mobile also boasts a screen fingerprint scanner, a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged at 27W charging speeds.

Like any TOP 2019 mobile phone, Black Shark 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 855, which is powered by a cooling chamber of the steam room, which promises a temperature reduction of up to 14 degrees Celsius.

The camera department is powered by a 48MP binary pixel sensor plus a 2x 12MP telephoto zoom lens. The mobile also counts with a 20MP unit for selfies.

Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro With Triple Rear Cameras, Up to 8GB of RAM Revealed

Redmi has officially announced the first K-series Redmi smartphones through an unveiled event in China. The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are first full-screen smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi.

The Redmi K20 is powered by the Snapdragon 730, while the Snapdragon 855 chipset is present under the K20 Pro cap.

But how much does the Redman K20 and the Pro version cost? Let’s take a look at the technical specs and then the official price.

Specifications and features of the Redmi K20 Pro

The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro phones come with the same design. The rear of the K20 Pro features a curved 3D glass with a unique pattern, while its front is predominantly on the screen without the presence of a notch. With the thin frame around the screen, the smartphone offers a 92 percent body view ratio.

A few days before the start of the Redmi K20 series, the Chinese company had allowed buyers to prepare the Redmi K20 series at a nominal fee. These buyers can make the remaining payments today.

Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphone pre-sales starts today at 6pm (local time) in China. The sale of Redmi K20 will start on June 1st at 10 am and K20 Pro will launch on June 10th. There is no word about the international availability of the Redmi K20 series. Rumors confirm that these cell phones will come to Europe as well.

Honor launched the new series of smartphones, Honor 20

Honor launched the latest series of smartphones, called “Honor 20“, at a London event.

The phones debut in a new campaign titled “Capture Wonder” and this only confirms what the company hopes to make with this new trio – Honor Lite, Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro.

The Honor 20 Pro has a fourfold camera that offers 3x unmatched optical zoom and 30x digital zoom, which is sharpened and adjusted through the software.

The same maximum magnification is achieved with the Huawei P30. Given that Honor is a Huawei sub-brand, we can expect the same ‘miracle’, which creates a nearly unshakeable digital zoom.

The quadruple camera at Honor 20 Pro consists of a 48MP f /1.4 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) camera.

This wide-angle sensor is coupled with an 8MP camera, an ultra-wide 16MP angle and recently a 2MP macro camera to enhance every nearby picture.

This will improve your holiday photos, allowing you to capture details that you would never have been able to do the opposite.

The empowerment of the Honor 20 Pro comes from a 4,000mAh battery, which should be powerful enough to provide battery life throughout the day.

But when the phone is off, Honor supports 22.5W Honor SuperCharge, which recharges 50% of the battery capacity in just half an hour.

Both phones come with the modified version of Android 9 Pri called Magic UI 2.1 and have Google applications included.

Both phones have a 6.26-inch LCD screen with a small hole in the head where the camera is hidden. Their design is the one used at Honor View 20 last year which had great effect.

A fingerprint scanner is integrated into the ignition button on the side of the phone while the bottom is a USB-C port and the 3.5mm headphone port is missing.

The biggest differences the phones have on the camera. The Honor 20 has four rear cameras: a 48-megapixel key, a 16-megapixel super-wide, a 2-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Honor 20 Pro has the same sensors, almost excluding the depth sensor which has been replaced by a 3x 8-megapixel optical zoom sensor. Both phones come into the super competitive marketplace, including OnePlus 7, Google Pixel 3a XL, or Samsung Galaxy A.

Honor 20 model will cost 500 euros in Europe while 20 Pro 600 euros. They may be the latest smartphones with Google services and applications.

Samsung launches the Olympic version of the Galaxy S10+, the Olympic Game Edition

Samsung has launched a Galaxy S10+ Olympic edition to celebrate the Summer 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

With the event being held in Japan, it should not be surprising to find out where the exclusive version of the phone is available – although consumers will not have to wait until 2020 to get it: it’s on sale now for $1,000.

This is not the first time Samsung has launched an Olympic version of a phone.

First, it was the Galaxy Note’s Olympic edition in 2012, followed by the Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Edition in 2014, the Galaxy S7’s 2016 Olympic edition and the Galaxy Note 8 Olympic Edition in 2018.

The Galaxy S10+ Olympic Game Edition is not so different from the Galaxy S10+ Standard Color Prism White model, with the main difference being the inclusion of a Tokio 2020 emblem at the back.

There is no information as to whether Samsung is planning to bring the Olympic Games edition to other markets.

Today, ASUS announced their latest device, Zenfone 6, and packs some precious specifications for the price.

As you expect from any modern phone, the device comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and it’s connected to 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The outstanding feature of Zenfone 6 is the camera configuration, which consists of two sensors. One is the Sony IMX 586 camera – 48MP camera that has become part of many phones this year – and the other is a 13MP wide angle lens.

This is not particularly impressive, but what makes it interesting is the ability of the camera to rotate from the back to the front of the phone, giving you the same quality and camera features as you get on the back.

This includes Pro mode, which allows you to adjust focus, exposure, and more.

Beyond the camera, the Zenfone 6 also promises great battery life with a 5,000mAh unit, which should be good enough for two days of “uninterrupted use,” but that will depend on what you actually do with your phone.

The device also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0.

The Zenfone 6 comes in two colors, Midnight Black and Silver Twilight, and is available in three storage configurations and RAM.

The base model has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and costs € 499; the 6GB / 128GB model costs 559 euros, and the top 8GB / 256GB version costs 599 euros.
