ZTE in cooperation with China Unicom realized the first 5G call with a prototype 5G smartphone and surf the web with the prototype in question.
The duo conducted the tests three months after launching the 3GPP Rel-15 document.
The company said the tests showed ZTE’s strong expertise in search, research and commercialization of 5G for operators.
However, company technology is unlikely to find the extent it requires due to the security concerns that revolve around ZTE
The other Chinese company Huawei has been targeted by various countries around the world boycotting 5G technology.
At the Technology Presentation Conference (CES) that was held in Las Vegas, Samsung showed the smart prototype 5G phone.
