Perhaps the first question you will ask is: “What is a gaming browser?” Immediately comes to mind is the Google Stadia project, a platform for video game broadcasting.
But according to the concept of Opera for a gaming browser, it is a browser customized for gaming fans rather than a browser that does the hard work of playing.
In short, the system is more interested in minimizing the use of computer resources while players are playing.
The central browser function is the GX Control Panel, which allows users to know how much processor and RAM is being used by the browser.
The idea is for players to broadcast their game on Twitch but slowing down the computer. According to the company’s players, usually before playing a game, shutdown the browser to not slow down their gaming experience.
Another interesting detail of Opera GX is Twitch’s integration, allowing users to directly access the service from the side menu. Also receive notifications when broadcasters are live.
Among other things Opera GX has animations and audio inspired by gaming consoles.
