Cristiano Ronaldo, 2 years in prison and 18.8 million euros penalty

Cristiano Ronaldo was sentenced to 2 years in prison (will be released on parole) and a fine of 18.8 million euros.

According to El Mundo, Ronaldo has reached an agreement with the Spanish state law to pay his fiscal obligations by taking responsibility for four years.

With this agreement Ronaldo closes all the fiscal problems that have been in Spain these years, ending a long administrative process.

Meanwhile there is still a matter to be resolved: Ronaldo requires two years of prison to be converted into a fine and not a conditional one, as it may create problems in the future.

According to “Transfermarkt”, the Catalan club has ejected € 131.8 million in January, regardless of the bonuses it could later pay for Brazilian Coutinho or Colombian Yerry Mina.

Second place in the standings of the winter is “Liverpool” that bought defender Virgil van Dijk for 78.8 million euros, while the third is Manchester City.
