New 2020 SEAT Leon debuts, increased in size to beat VW Golf

SEAT has launched the third generation Leon model to rival the Ford Focus and VW Golf

SEAT has had big sales of its new SUVs, but this company doesn’t just want to focus on the SUV.

The Mk3 Leon has sold more than a million units while being known for family cars. The SEAT hasn’t changed the design much and looks like a model between the Mk3 and Mk4 but larger in size, directly rivaling the Golf and Focus.

The new Leon is 90mm taller than before. The engines that will be offered with the new SEAT Leon will start with the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 109 horsepower.

The other 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine comes in two options, one with 128 hp and the other with 148 hp and the 2.0-liter 187 hp.

There are two 2.0-liter diesel engines to be offered, one with 113 hp and the other with 148 hp.

Seat Ateca FR Black Edition

2020 Seat Ateca FR Black Edition Revealed

As the name suggests, the new model is marked out by black exterior touches.

SEAT has added a special edition version of its Ateca SUV, called the Ateca FR Black Edition.

The Black Edition includes black mirrors, black glass and grille as well as 19-inch wheels also black leather inside.

Based on FR Sport, the Black Edition will be available in four different colors to choose from and will include a 10-inch screen featuring Seat’s ‘Full Link’ software, which supports ‘Apple CarPlay’ and Android Auto.

FR Black Edition will offer four engine options, starting with the 1.5-liter TSI with 148 hp and the other 2.0-liter TSI with 187 hp with automatic DSG and all-wheel-drive system. 4Drive. The 148-horsepower and 187-horsepower versions of the 2.0-liter TDI diesel complete the Ateca line.

Prices for the special ‘Black Edition’ range from €34,000 to €41,000 for their most expensive model.

Cupra Ateca with a new package by McChip-DKR

The car modification company, McChip-DKR, presents its new package that is dedicated to reinforcing Seat SUV, the Cupra Ateca.

Cupra Ateca normally has a 2.0-liter Turbo petrol engine with a capacity of 221kW/300hp, which is enough to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and a maximum of 247 km/h.

McChip-DKR for Atecan offers three packages. The first involves powering at 257 kW/345 horsepower, the second at 276 kW/370 horsepower and the third at 349 kW/468 horsepower. On this occasion, the Ateca becomes more powerful than the new Audi RS Q3.

Also, McChip-DKR has not revealed the details of the acceleration and top speed of these three offers for Cupra Ateca.
