2021 Mercedes S-Class

2021 Mercedes S-Class revealed: Iconic view, modern technology and more power

The latest S-Class is loaded with new features

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is finally here. After an exhausting campaign that included dozens of videos and photos of this stunning car, and some other details, the company has finally pulled the cover of its latest full-size luxury sedan. And there is a lot to like, motor1 reports.

Some of the most important new features include two hybrid engine options, a large touchscreen display, and a more active security technology than ever before. Minor exterior changes bring the Mercedes-Benz S-Class into the modern era. The front is slightly longer, the headlights are sharper and for the first time in three lanes, the S-Class has the taillights horizontally.

Thinnest and aggressive headlights, like all the new Mercedeses. The back is saved from unnecessary lines despite the considerable size, where as a distinguishing element prevails the already symbolic triangular stops. Door handles are now fully integrated into the car to help improve airflow. The S-Class is one of the most aerodynamic cars in the world. In terms of size, the new S-Class is up to 1.3 inches taller than its predecessor, up to 2.0 inches wider.

Of course, Benz’s new 12.8-inch touch screen is what immediately catches the eye. There are also 30 speakers and eight resonators available for the sound system. The steering wheel is also new, in this model. One of the biggest features of the cabin is the new ambient lighting feature, which has an LED inside an optical fiber every 0.6 inches.

There are also three optional screens available in the rear: two 11.6-inch entertainment displays mounted in the rear of the seats and a third 7.0-inch portable tablet in the center console. Both driver and rear passengers can access personal profiles on the center screen and rear seat screens via voice command.

Car Teslification could not be missing here at all, because the main screen is massive this time so big that the Augmented Reality in it looks almost real. But unfortunately, the level of autonomy has not reached the American competitor while it stops at level 3.

As you might expect, the new S-Class comes with almost every safety feature Mercedes-Benz currently offers. The list includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive drive control with stop and movement, active steering assistance, lane-keeping assistance, lane change assistance, traffic sign recognition.

An interesting detail presented with it is the 4-wheel turning system. From which the rear wheels can be turned up to 10 degrees to maneuver more closely. The chassis can continuously scan the terrain and make suspension changes up to 1000 times per second.

This car crowns the best of Mercedes-Benz and is heading straight for the Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series. There will clearly be an ultra version that will take the Maybach crown. Unfortunately, we do not know how much the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will cost. We expect a slight price increase compared to the previous model, which starts at $94,250.

The interior of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, a super miracle

With the new generation, the interior is fully developed in a “third place”, a haven between home and work

The modern luxury reaches a new level inside the S-Class. Designers have created an environment for a pleasant feeling with a “lounge” marked with elegance, high quality and softness. The control panel with new architecture, modern surface modeling, and ergonomic display layout makes a special impression, writes Motor1.com.

But the feel-good aspect goes even further: with improved steering quality and low noise levels, as well as a wide range of ENERGIZING Comfort programs, the S-Class takes care of passenger well-being. They also stay in good condition thanks to an efficient air filtration system, which signals its new capabilities through the ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL system.

The S-Class has always been a place for comfortable travel and quiet work. With the new generation, the interior is fully developed in a “third place”, a haven between home and work. Almost all dimensions in terms of comfort have been improved, in both variants of the model, S-Class with short and long wheelchairs, both in the front and rear seats.

This effect fulfills the revolutionary interior model, including the connection to the yacht’s interior architecture and design elements. In addition to up to five screens, prominent elements include large elements on the instrument panel at the rear of the vehicle. A particularly attractive version is the open-pore wood veneer, impregnated with delicate inserts made of genuine aluminum.

LED technology enables interactive indoor lighting: Active ambient lighting is now integrated into steering assistance systems and can visually support alarms. For example, Active Blind Spot Assist warns of an impending collision with red light animation. Furthermore, the reaction is possible, for example, when using a climate control system or a “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant.

Mercedes S-Class

Spied the new S-Class: The Mercedes with the highest technology ever!

The next generation of the new Mercedes S-Class, which will be unveiled next year, has been spied on during testing.

Mercedes has very well camouflaged the S-Class during testing, as its details are not seen.

The new S-Class won’t have much of a change from its predecessor to the exterior, but it will adapt to the new “face” of Mercedes.  While the exterior changes will not be large, there will be numerous interior changes.

The ‘entertainment’ and instrumentation system will be replaced by a large Tesla-style large center screen. S-Class will be the state-of-the-art car this firm will provide, with a range of driver assistance systems and several types of electric motors.
