Black Shark 3 Pro may crash Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

Black Shark smartphone gaming maker, a sub-brand of Xiaomi gaming phones, has unveiled Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro. Two premium devices, which may have what it takes to challenge the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, especially with the Black Shark 3 Pro.

These powerful phones have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (same chip as Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Utra) and both handsets also support 5G.

The Black Shark 3 comes with 8 GB of RAM, while the Pro comes equipped with 16 GB. The phone also features a large 64MP main camera, with a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP sensor. Not quite a rival to the mainstream Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra lenses, nor is the refresh rate the Black Shark has at 90Hz, while the S20 Ultra has 120Hz.

However, the sporty Black Shark Pro also has a 7.1 1440p display, “even bigger than the impressive S20 Ultra 6.9 screen”. While the Black Shark 3 offers a 6.67 in FHD+ screen and both run at 90 Hz.

A magnetic charger, combined with state-of-the-art 65W wireless charging technology can charge at 50% in 12 minutes both phones and fully charge that in 38 minutes, ensures that you simply snap the charger to the back of the phone and continue playing with minimal interruptions. As for the battery capacities, Black Shark 3 packs 4720 mAh while Black Shark 3 Pro an 5000 mAh batteries.

At the moment, phones have just been released in China, but hopefully the phones will eventually ship to international markets. 

The best part?

Black Shark 3 Pro currently costs around $670. Compared to the great price of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra ($1,399), this is simply stunning value. The Black Shark 3 starts at $500.

The upgraded version of the gaming smartphone announced on March has just been unveiled, confirming earlier rumors that included the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of internal storage with UFS 3.0 technology, a 6.39-inch FHD+ resolution display, HDR support and touchscreen latency of just 34.7ms (43.5ms on the previous model).

Aesthetic changes are limited to an upgrade of the back cover handle and repositioning of the lighting system: RGB LEDs are now positioned on both sides of the Black Shark logo.

The Xiaomi-based sub-brand, Black Shark, has just announced that it is the new smartphone for new games earlier this month – Black Shark 2. Now the mobile phone is ready for Europe, directly from the BlackShark official site .

But how much does Black Shark 2 cost and what are the main specs?

The company decided to create this smartphone in Europe because the mobile gaming segment is now generating more profits than consoles or PC gaming.

The smartphone segment of gaming still has to give some extra steps to see if it is really successful or not.

But how much does Black Shark 2 cost?

Users interested in this device will have to pay €549 or £ 479 (~ $619) for the 8GB RAM / 128GB Storage variant. But if you are interested in the most powerful version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Storage space you have to pay €649 or £559 (~ $729).

According to David Li, vice president of Black Shark Global, this device will provide “an unrivaled experience for European players”.

Black Shark 2 is a cell phone with an HDR AMOLED display of 6.39 inches, low latency (43.5ms) and a typical 430 nits brightness.

The phone has stereo speakers and an X-shaped antenna to ensure that users will never miss the signal, no matter how they carry it. The mobile also boasts a screen fingerprint scanner, a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged at 27W charging speeds.

Like any TOP 2019 mobile phone, Black Shark 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 855, which is powered by a cooling chamber of the steam room, which promises a temperature reduction of up to 14 degrees Celsius.

The camera department is powered by a 48MP binary pixel sensor plus a 2x 12MP telephoto zoom lens. The mobile also counts with a 20MP unit for selfies.

It is the successor to the Xiaomi Black Shark and is likely to be called Black Shark 2. The company has now officially confirmed that this smartphone will be launched on March 18 in China.

Confirmation comes through an image that the company has posted in Weibo, the Twitter equivalent in China. The image confirms that the new generation gaming phone will be launched on March 18th.

Reports suggest that this phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 platform, with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space.

There may be another configuration with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. Like the existing Black Shark Helo model, there may also be a variant that has 10GB of RAM.

Moreover, there is now little known about this device. There may also be a powerful battery, so we expect a capacity of at least 4,000mAh.

Xiaomi can only make the device available in China before it unfolds to other markets across Europe.

It was April when Black Shark reveal their first phone for the world, with an aesthetics aimed at caring for gaming fanatics.Now, the company has revealed the second device, Helo, offering impressive specifications and a new design.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and will have an option to be equipped with a capacity of 6GB, 8GB or a surprising 10GB of RAM.

Regarding the internal space, the 6GB and 8GB RAM models will have 128GB, while the 10GB RAM will have 256GB.

Helo will use double tubes in SoC to improve performance and keep things fresh.

Helo has a 6.0-inch AMOLED display with 1,080 pixels and a maximum brightness of 430 wipes. The screen will be able to benefit from the HDR content and also offer support for the DCI-P3 and SRGB color gamut.

The smartphone will have a dual rear camera configuration, using a 20MP sensor combined with 12MP, with the front camera coming in at 20MP. A 4,000 mAh battery should provide enough capacity for a full day of moderate use.

If you want to get two gloves, you will be forced to order the 10GB model of the phone. Those who order 6GB / 8GB RAM will only receive the left controller.
