HTC launches Exodus 1, the first phone that supports cryptocurrency

HTC has launched the Exodus 1 phone, which is the first ever phone dedicated to cryptocurrency technology.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The Taiwanese phone maker describes it as a “phone experience for a modern user and new era on the Internet,” and accordingly, the device is available for purchase only using Bitcoin or Ethereum.

“It’s been 10 years since the launch of the first Android phone from HTC and almost 10 years since the beginning of Bitcoin,” said Phil Chen, director of HTC.

“Exodus 1 is a basic element of the cryptic internet. For digital activities and decentralized applications to be able to reach their potential, we believe that phones should be the main distribution point. “

The smartphone will look and function like many other premium phones, with a 6-inch Quad HD display, a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a powerful Snapdragon 845 processor.

However, it will also include a “secure enclave” that is separate from the Android operating system, where cryptransferment can be safely stored.

Exodus 1 will also support decentralized, blockchain-based applications, which the firm hopes to assist in “internet reshape”.

Instagram now features video conversations with up to six people

One of the features that Instagram introduced earlier this year was the ability to make video calls with your friends. It’s a strange feature, because Instagram is more known as a platform for sharing photos and videos and not talking, much less in video chat, but the feature is there for those who want to use it, writes Ubergizmo.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

This feature has also supported up to four users at the same time, but it seems that Instagram has quietly updated the function that will now support up to six users at the same time, in a call, refer the Telegraph.

The news comes from the Instagram help website, which states that users will be able to develop video chat with up to six people at the same time. The video chat function will be the same as before, so there is no change in functionality, but it will now support more people at the same time.

It seems strange that Instagram is offering video calling in their app, as it’s not necessarily a call-to-call app.

In fact WhatsApp (also owned by Facebook) also supports group video calls, so it might be a good option if you do not use Instagram.

Samsung Foldable phone may be launched next month

Samsung is approaching the launch of their foldable phones, a prototype that is was likely developed for years.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

In a Twitter post last week, the company harbored a major breakthrough of the device, or at least a prototype version of it, describing their future development conference as a “crossroads between the present and the future,” and pointing at a thin graph, two lines unfolding in the shape of the right arrow.

We have heard for a time that Samsung was close to the folding phone presentation. CEO of Samsung, DJ Koh, has hinted in an interview with CNBC in September that the product may arrive this year, but we have not seen any devices yet, even at the prototype stage.

It seems as everything could change as early as next month, and now it is more likely than ever that a form of device software interface or possibly any current device appears at the Samsung Development Conference in San Francisco, which begins on November 7th.

So far, all we have is this 2014 video concept that shows how such a device might look like and how it might be folding a phone to significantly reduce its size.

Prior to this, Samsung displayed a flexible AMOLED display prototype in 2012.

Apple brings new iPad and Mac models on October 30th

While Apple may have refreshed some of their products, such as MacBook Pro and iPhone, there are still some products Apple has not yet updated. This includes iPad Pro, MacBook Air, 12-inch MacBook and iMac.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Many of the company fans expected these devices to be announced this month and it seems as if Apple finally confirmed the news.

The company has announced that it will host an event on October 30 in Brooklyn which will also be broadcast live.

Apple did not mention what it would launch, but given that in the past we’ve seen how some updates to products have been done without much promotion, it’s safe to say that Apple might have more to announce this round.

There is speculation that Apple‘s event will introduce the new iPad Pro that will come with Face ID, a new design and a new magnetic connector. There was also rumor about a cheaper MacBook.

8K TV from Sharp goes on sale next month

4K is about to become the standard solution for the near future, and to a degree it is halfway, as we see more 4K resolution screens and more devices that can record 4K video.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

However, in the future we can see higher-resolution screens, such as 8K, and Sharp seems to be ready to offer this upgrade.

The company has announced in CEATEC 2018 that they will send their 8K TVs next month, meaning that if you are looking for an 8K TV, Sharp is one of the companies that should research.

Sharp is not the first company to launch an 8K display after we’ve seen the 8K offer from Samsung, but that assortment definitely helps.

However, Sharp’s offer has an advantage because it comes with an additional built-in tool that allows you to watch broadcasted broadcasts at 8K resolution, although there is no doubt that there is not much 8K content available right now.

Huawei also launches Mate 20X, with a massive 7.12-inch screen

Huawei also launches Mate 20X, with a massive 7.12-inch screen

In addition to Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, Huawei also launched a 7.12-inch smartphone called “Mate 20X” yesterday. 20X contains most of the regular Mate 20 specifications, but improves them in several key areas.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The most obvious of these is, of course, the screen size, making it more than a tablet than a phone. It is an OLED panel and has a Full HD + resolution, with a 18.7: 9 aspect ratio.

Larger dimensions also imply that Huawei was able to fit a larger battery of 5,000mAh in 20X compared to 4,000mAh of Mate 20. The company claims the phone is 30% more efficient.

Given the features similar to the tablet, Huawei has made some software changes so that using 20X in landscape mode will give a tablet-like UI.

In addition, Mate 20X is very similar to the smallest model, with a Kirin 980 processor that empowers everything. The camera’s configuration is also imitated, with a 40MP main camera paired with a 8MP 2x zoom telephoto lens and a 20MP wide angle lens.

The Mate 20X version of the 6GB + 128GB version will be available in Europe for $899 from October 26th.

Huawei launches the new series of smartphones, Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro

Huawei launches the new series of smartphones, Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro

Today, Huawei announced the new hardware package, Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. As you can see from the pictures, they bring triple camera configurations like the P20 Pro of last spring and together these cameras bring up to 40 megapixels.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Indeed, the RGB primary camera is 40 megapixels, and has an eight megapixel telephoto lens. This time however, there is no monochrome lens, as it is replaced with a 20-megapixel wide-angle lens.

Not only is this better for group photos, but Huawei says it will be even better for macro imagery, enabling focus on an object just 2.5cm away.

New smartphones pack the Huawei processor, Kirin 980. There is also a new AI movie mode, where you can stream video while recording, such as Color Pops.

The Kirin 980 processor promises a 20% speed improvement and a 40% improvement in power efficiency.

You may have noticed that there are some major design differences between Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.

The Mate 20 has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Mate 20 Pro also supports charging without cable of a 4,200mAh battery. Mate 20 has a 6.34-inch LCD with 2.244 × 1.080 resolution in HDR, giving a 18.7: 9 ratio.

The Mate 20 Pro is slightly smaller, at 6.39 inches and with a 19.5: 9 ratio, but with a panel of 3.120 × 1.440 OLEDs.

Both devices come in Twilight, Emerald Green, Pink Gold and Blue Midnight. Mate 20 has a price of 799 euros, while Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes in the amount of 1,049 euros.

Intel launches the ninth generation processor with support up to 128 GB of RAM

Intel launches the 9th generation processor with support up to 128 GB of RAM

Intel has confirmed that their 9th generation processors can support up to 128GB of RAM.This huge amount of RAM was confirmed by Intel at AnandTech, who stated that support will be activated in “a period of several months” to allow large amounts of memory to be used with the newest Core chips.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Thus, the Xeon chip maker no longer brings the only products that can support large amounts of memory.

Earlier, Core processors could contain up to 64GB of RAM, which is more than enough for many computer games tasks on a desktop computer of general use.

But by doubling the amount of RAM, the new Core CPUs will be useful to people who do a lot of video and heavy photo editing, and they need to be moved and rolled at high speeds.

Such heavy folders can fill up RAM very quickly, so having access to a large space is not a bad thing if such editing work is required.

However, adapting a computer to support 128GB of RAM will require a motherboard with access to four DIMMs that supports 32GB of RAM each. And buying such large amounts of RAM is unlikely to be very cheap.

A 32GB RAM processor costs anywhere between £200 and £280, so you’ll need big pockets if you want a 128GB device

Winamp is expected to return in 2019

Winamp is expected to return in 2019

Before iTunes was as popular as it is today, and before the release of music services like Spotify, Winamp dominated the space of MP3 music software.Of course, things have changed a lot over the years, where Winamp is now a distant but loving memory.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

However, according to a report by TechCrunch, it seems that Winamp’s glorious return is expected to take place in 2019. This is according to Alexandre Saboundjian, CEO of Radionomy, the company that bought Winamp.

He stated that we can expect to see a completely new version of Winamp coming in 2019, where he predicts it will be the ‘de facto’ platform that was once.

According to Saboundjian, “There will be a completely new version next year, with Winamp’s legacy, but in a more complete listening experience. You can listen to MP3s that you can have at home, but also online music, podcasts, radio stations, or a list of listening that you may have built. People want a single experience. I think Winamp is the perfect platform to bring it to everyone. And we want people to have it on any device. “

The details of what Radionomy is planning to do is still scarce, except that they hope to revive the program.

However, Winamp never really left.

The application was on the verge of closing before Radionomy bought it.

However, the application has not been officially updated since then, though it still works.

If Winamp is still relevant at this time it remains to be seen, but we have to wait until next year

The pre-orders for the LG V40 start earlier than expected

The LG V40 was announced a few weeks ago and if you were thinking of receiving the smartphone, you may be happy to understand that the device will now be available for pre-ordering. It turns out that pre-orders will start earlier than expected, because apparently the interest on the device was much better than LG expected.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

However, this is not a bad thing if you plan to purchase the device anyway. The phone will be available through carriers such as AT & T, T-Mobile and Sprint. As far as deliveries are concerned, AT & T has listed dates from 16 to 18 October. There is no word for other carriers, but dates do not have to be far apart.

LG V40 is the latest LG phone and is the company’s main device for the second half of the year. For those who listen to it for the first time, the phone features a 6.4-inch screen with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

There will also be 6GB of RAM that accompanies it, along with 64GB of expandable memory, a 3,300mAh battery, and a triple camera configuration at the back that incorporates a combination of ultra wide and zoom lenses.Full details here: LG V40 ThinQ With Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM, 5 Cameras & 128GB Internal Launched
