OnePlus Concept One will be presented during CES 2020

Last week, OnePlus sent media invitations to a special event to be held in Las Vegas, during the CES 2020, as the event begins on January 7. The company did not announce at the time what topic the event would cover, but now the Chinese phone maker indicates that we will see the OnePlus Concept One next month, GSMArena reports.

Mysterious 6-core Intel CPU based on the new architecture benchmarks Leaked

Intel’s CPU, based on an unpublished architecture till now, has appeared on the SiSoft base benchmark. The processor has six cores and 12 threades, working at 3 GHz, and operates as standard 12nm CPUs that are already available, but if you look a little better things are different, reports TechPowerUp.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The new CPU has a different configuration of the L2 cache than previous solutions and offers 1.25MB of L2 cache per core, which is unlike any of Intel’s current offerings. Ice Lake mobile chips have 512KB, while the largest amount of L2 cache is currently available in the i9-10980XE and it is 1MB.

It is not yet known where this new processor will fit into the company’s full 14nm/10nm line, and it is not known whether it is the 10nm Tiger Lake version or the possible Rocket Lake 14nm CPU. The only thing known is that the processor has a new architecture compared to the Skylake variants currently used.

The platform, which was used for benchmarking processors, includes the SuperMicro X12DAi-N SMC X12 dual-socket motherboard, with two new processors and a total of 12 cores and 24 threades.

Galaxy S11 will be a photographic superpower and the latest information proves it

Samsung Galaxy S11 is preparing to become a photographic superpower. The camera system is shooting through news headlines with the 108-megapixel sensor, 5X optical zoom and 8K video recording.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Finally to concretize everything we have learned to date, some photos have been published of the back of the phone showing the camera setup.

From the image only half of the camera system is displayed which are well organized. The vertically oriented cameras are on the left and are a main camera, one with super wide angle and a periscope lens.

While on the right side although the image does not show, reports suggest a Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera and a flash light. Previous designs have shown five rear cameras in the format of an X.

But the latest information Galaxy S11 will have no more than four cameras. The main camera will of course be 108-megapixels developed in collaboration with Xiaomi and applied to the Xiaomi Note 10.

Microsoft’s new Xbox console just doesn’t look like it

We have long known this console under the codename “Project Scarlett” and it looks and feels like the brain of a personal computer. This design by Xbox boss Phil Spencer helps Microsoft accommodate more processor power while keeping noise levels low.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The console will be less noisy than the Xbox One X and there is only one fan that pushes the air up. Xbox Series X is as wide as a remote and about three times as long. On the technical side, Microsoft says the Xbox Series X can easily handle 4K video at 60 frequencies per second and in other formats up to 120 frequencies per second.

The console comes with new ray tracing technology as well as 8K resolution. On the inside is a custom processor and graphics as well as SSD memory. The latter will significantly shorten the time that proper console to open games.

Along with the console Microsoft also introduced the Xbox Wireless remote control. It runs on Xbox One and Windows 10 and will be included with any Xbox Series X console.

Microsoft said the console will be sold for the holiday season next year but did not provide details on how much it will cost.

Apple Mac Pro

Apple’s most powerful computer costs over $50,000

But this starting price is ‘very little’ compared to the $50,000 Apple is seeking for the most powerful model. Apple has made it possible to order the Mac Pro today, which I introduced in November.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Mac Pro is designed for professionals who need computers that can handle the hard work, such as processing large amounts of data or working multiple jobs at once on 8K simultaneously.

With this computer, Apple also targets professional video editors who work in the film and television industries who need powerful computers.

For more than $50,000, buyers get a 28-core processor, 1.5 Terabyte of RAM, 2 Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics cards, which Apple says offer 28 teraflops of 4TB of storage.

Apple also offers an ‘Afterburner’ card, an accelerator card that offers 3 8K video playback at once.

Priced at $50,000, this Mac Pro makes it the most expensive product Apple has ever sold. Apple does not expect people with personal money to buy it, but big companies. This one is more designed for movie studios with big budgets.
