Xiaomi Mi Watch

Xiaomi Mi Watch needs to be charged only twice a month

The big surprise is the price of 99 euros and it will be sold in Europe

Xiaomi just introduced some new phones and along with them a new Mi Watch which looks like the most interesting product among all. Not at the half price of last year’s model, an Apple Watch clone, but something more similar to the Google WearOS or Garmin family.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Still called Mi Watch. The new device needs to be charged only twice a month according to Xiaomi and contains full 117 fitness modes. Xiaomi did not specify exactly what software the watch has installed, but says it is compatible with iPhone iOS 10 and above and Android 4.4 and above.

The watch has a blood oxygen monitoring sensor, stress, and sleep tracking functions, and a heart rate sensor. The Mi Watch screen has a maximum brightness of 450 nits and the watch itself weighs 32 grams.

All three smartphones are similar in design, but the main difference and what it really should be is in their performance. The 10T and 10T Pro have a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels and HDR10+ and a crazy 144Hz refresh rate. Such a frequency is available from a high-end gaming monitor and gaming smartphone. While the Lite version comes with a more “modest” scale of 120Hz.

It is somewhat unusual that Xiaomi relies on an LCD screen for all its Mi-10T devices and leaves out an AMOLED screen. For this reason, the fingerprint sensor is not integrated into the screen.

The first two devices use a powerful Snapdragon 865 SoC 5G processor and 8GB RAM. Lite has the latest Snapdragon 750G SoC mid-range processor and only 6GB of RAM. The battery of all three is the same, 5000mAh where Lite has a very small difference. Standard charging for all 33W. Wireless charging should also work, but Xiaomi does not provide information about charging power. In the box is also included a 33W USB-C charger.

The camera department is what makes the difference.

The Mi 10T Lite has a set of 4 cameras 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. The Mi 10T has only three, 64MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro.

The magic is certainly saved for the superior Mi 10T Pro with a 108MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, another 13MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro lens. With this camera configuration, 8K videos can be recorded at 30 fps. The selfie camera is hidden in a small camera hole in the screen and has 20 MP.

Depending on the selection, prices start at €279 for the Lite, €499 for the Mi 10T, and €599 for the cheaper version of the Mi 10T Pro.

Xiaomi revealed the third generation of under-display camera

ZTE may be the first company to launch an under-screen camera phone, but soon there will be strong competition

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has today introduced the third generation of under-screen camera. This manufacturer had warned this type of camera technology in June last year.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Xiaomi will soon incorporate selfie cameras under the screen. The company unveiled the “third-generation” technology of on-screen cameras showing us what to expect from Xiaomi phones in the future. According to the company, for the first time, phone screens will be complete without cutting or splitting the selfie camera and without the need for motor mechanisms such as “pop-up.”

Xiaomi says it has used an overlay of pixels on the screen which allow light to pass through without compromising the quality of the screen.

Xiaomi has highlighted the third-generation camera module under the screen in a post on its official blog, and the Chinese company says the sensor is invisible thanks to its “self-developed pixel arrangement” with double the number of horizontal pixels and vertical, thus achieving the same pixel density as the rest of the screen. This means that you will not be able to notice the camera module below the screen, leading to a more comprehensive full-screen design.

Xiaomi also says that it has changed the camera algorithms so that its under-screen modules provide the same image quality as conventional selfie cameras. The company claims that the picture quality of this camera is the same as a normal camera however this remains to be seen.

When will this technology debut? According to the company, mass production of smartphones with this camera will start in 2021.
