Messenger will also place ads through private messages

According to one patent, it is seen how Facebook wants to put ads through private messages exchanged on Messenger, among users.

The company has long enabled businesses to advertise, but not within messaging.

The way Messenger will handle advertising is worrying because the conversations will be followed and depending on the topic being discussed, the ads that interest those who are writing will appear.

In the patent, we see how the words Grand Canyon and San Jose are used in the conversation as users reach the ads, which shows the best things ours can offer.

It is expected to have the same form with various food, cosmetics, or even things to use.

The application for this patent has been accepted, and it remains to be seen when Messenger will launch these ads.

How can Blockchain Improve the Lives of the World’s Poorest?

The Blockchain is regarded as the primary precursor of the impending fourth technological revolution. Although associated mainly with the Bitcoin payment system, the blockchain technology is nevertheless a full-fledged element in the world of finances, that allows for fee-free and fast transfer of funds.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Thus, blockchain technology has already been successfully utilized in many different fields: supply chain management and healthcare, art and entertainment. So let us speculate, whether with similar success Blockchain could contribute to the world’s demographic situation? Surprisingly, it well could! Let us take a look at how.

So what is Blockchain?

In essence, Blockchain is a digital ledger, composed of interrelated blocks. Each block bears the imprint of the preceding one, as well as its own data. The Blockchain technology was initially designed to serve Bitcoin transactions, that is why the association is so strong. However, at this point, technology has more to it than supporting and validating crypto operations. Aside from that, Blockchain can transmit healthcare data and process smart contracts to carry out deals faster, applying the pre-set arrangements. Although previously used in the realm of hefty funds and crypto exchange, Blockchain can well help out the poorest alleviate their lives in the ways, set out below.

Providing cheap and fast funds remittance

In the light of the migration crisis which struck Europe several years ago, loads of migrants had to leave their homes for developed countries to support their families financially. Economic migrants usually send a part of their salaries to the families, spending large amounts on unaffordably high fees charged by bank institutions. According to Bart Smith, the Wall Street big shot, Blockchain could make international money transfers a cakewalk for economic migrants.

As a matter of fact, such blockchain-backed transmission services as BitSpark (Hong Kong) charge about 1% of the large amounts of the funds transferred, which is substantially lower than usual bank rates.

Simplifying Paperwork

It always comes with a lot of struggle for the poorest to afford reasonable healthcare facilities as they cost considerably. Insurance companies are known to charge substantial amounts for the administrative services they provide. Use of Blockchain could help avoid paying huge fees and administrative charges.  With the help of smart contracts function, it is possible to make relevant documents without addressing officials and employees to get an endless number of approvals through different levels of authorities. Using Blockchain could bring the cost down, and insurance policy could become affordable for the poor.

Delivering Humanitarian Aid

Human poverty usually happens in areas with ongoing war conflicts. People live in the states, which are being destroyed by the atrocities of war, people receive miserable aid from the state governments.  Even when such international organizations as UN kick in to deliver humanitarian aid to the population, the funds allotted for aid, often end up in the hands of local authorities or aid officers themselves.

Blockchain could solve this problem by closely monitoring and tracing fund usage and direct aid efforts in the right ways. For instance, Blockchain is already used in the UN World Food Program “Building Blocks,” carried out in Sindh, Pakistan. The UN workers utilize Blockchain to monitor, validate, and support financial aid to the poor people, suffering from the war conflict. Besides that, the Jordan refugee camp also is also managed by Blockchain.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_5″ tdc_css=””]

Bringing financial services to the poor

According to the World Bank data, about 2 billion people all over the world do not have a bank account or cannot get bank services. With the use of Blockchain, bank services can help provide the poorest with access to the cryptocurrencies and operate their assets in a fee-free and fast payment system.

Providing the poor with Internet access

While the world net is now considered an inalienable part of everyone’s life, the poorest areas of the globe are still torn apart from this basic appliance of a modern human. One of the reasons for that is the poor financial support of the alienated regions in the Eastern world.

However, at this point, ideas are wandering about creating a blockchain-based world network by Metahash. This net will not depend on individual creators it will be managed by #MetaHashCoins holders users’ voting. With the advent of free economy and blockchain-based systems, such tokens of the modern world will genuinely become unconditional appliances. So we could well expect, the internet really to become a global network in full meaning of this word.

These are only some of the ways, how Blockchain could help out the poor, by making them adjacent to the modern financial technologies. If used effectively, Blockchain has all the potential to bring about a drastic change in the lives of the poorest and how they use the services and consume goods.

There are no doubts that technologies are on their way to make the life of everyone better!

Lenovo brings its first 5G laptops in December

The laptop market may soon shake with Lenovo preparing to launch its first 5G models in December 2019.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Laptops that can connect to super fast 5G networks would make a difference by revolutionizing the way we use them today.

According to an anonymous employee of Lenovo, the company is working with Intel and Qualcomm to produce laptops with up to 12 hours of battery life and 5G connectivity.

This means that Lenovo laptops could end up in Intel’s Athens Project, which aims to make Windows 10 laptops faster, thinner and with longer battery life.

However, we must remember that it is a connectivity in the early stages and when it reaches its maximum potential, 5G will open up a new world of possibilities thanks to the speed that 4G cannot reach.

Of course it will take some time until this technology matures.

Galaxy Tab S6

Galaxy Tab S6 is Samsung’s next attempt to challenge the iPad

The newest competitor of Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with a stylus pen included in the package and an optional keyboard.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The tablet goes on sale September 6 for $649 for a model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory. The version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory will cost $720.

Samsung says it will sell an LTE model by the end of the year. Currently the Tab S6 stands at the top of the line of Samsung tablets including the low-end Galaxy Tab A and high-end Tab S5e.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_5″]

It has a 16:10 10.5-inch OLED display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, much like the Tab S4 but Samsung has reduced the screen frame. The latter features a fingerprint scanner.

Samsung has also reduced the tablet’s thickness to just 5.7mm and weighs 420 grams. On its sides are four speakers, two in each. The Tab S6 has a Snapdragon 855 processor and a 7,040 mAh battery for 15 hours of usage.

At the back of the tablet is a dual camera with a standard lens and a 123-degree wide-angle lens. Also on the back is a magnetic boost which makes the stylus pencil stick to the tablet.

This pencil has features similar to that of the Galaxy Note 9 such as activating the button camera or sliding a PowerPoint document. Samsung has redesigned the keyboard to include a smaller trackpad. It costs $179. In terms of software the Tab S6 comes with Android 9 Pie and version 1.5 of the Samsung One UI interface.

In size and functionality, the Tab S6 is more of an iPad Air competitor than the expensive iPad Pro model. But Air costs much less but it has a more developed operating system and application ecosystem than the Tab S6.

As for the Samsung solution, it’s hard to hear anyone today choosing a Samsung tablet as opposed to an Apple option. Maybe with Microsoft Surface there might have a chance.

Starting today, private browsing in Chrome really becomes private

As promised Google is ready to make websites respect “Incognito” whether they like it or not. The company launched Chrome 76 for Linux, Mac and Windows, closing a gap that sites used to track private browsing.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

If you are tired of sites that require you to pay to read articles, then you are lucky. We have tested and it works with at least some media that previously did not allow visitors to “Incognito” mode.

The sites will not be liked at all. Most of them know that people use Incognito to avoid “Paywall” and by requiring visitors to sign up to read articles, they easily track visitors for free.

Now you either have to find another way to detect Incognito, or accept that these users will go untouched in the future.

The latest MediaTek processors are built for video games

When we hear the name MediaTek the first thing that comes to our minds are budget gaming smartphones, yet the company is determined to change that perception.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The chip designer unveiled on Monday the family of Helio G90 processors with features and performance for the latest and most intense games. The G90 and G90T are eight-core processors that use 2.05Ghz Cortex-A76 cores for heavy tasks and Cortex-A55 for light tasks accompanied by Mali-G76 800Mhz graphics and up to 10GB LPDDR4X RAM.

With the use of HyperEngine, G90 chips promise to reduce bottlenecks. Like many phones it uses LTE to assist a problematic Wi-Fi connection. It can also operate two different Wi-Fi bands. MediaTek also promises to reduce touch stoppages, prioritize game processes and resources, and image quality.

Photographers will enjoy up to 64-megapixel camera support. But the company did not specify when the first G90 phones will come and who they are. Indeed, the purpose of MediaTek is to show how powerful its gaming chips such as Fortnite and PUBG are. However they will not be at the level of the best, Apple or Qualcomm.
