Huawei Postpones the Debut of The Mate X Foldable Phone

The Chinese giant told CNBC and the Wall Street Journal that it was doing tests to make the device ready for customers and was acting cautiously after news of Samsung Galaxy Fold problems.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The latter debuted in April but shipments were postpones indefinitely after the devices was broken just a few days of use by media analysts.

The biggest problem for Huawei is not only the sustainability of the phone but also the effects of American sanctions. Because Huawei was placed on the black list, American firms can not sell or license Huawei technology. All this situation has caused great trouble that no company would want it to be. Google has revoked the Android license, while Microsoft is expected to do the same with Windows.

Based on this, it is unknown whether Mate X will come with Android or not. CNBC says Huawei will come up with Android because it was launched before Huawei list it in the blacklist. WSJ says this is being discussed.

An alternative is the launch of phone with Huawei system operation that he has started testing. Mate X was launched in February and was well received by analysts. The 8-inch OLED screen just folds into two. It has 8GB of RAM and 5G technology but costs 2,299 euros.

Visa, Mastercard, PayPal And other Big Names To Support Facebook Cryptocurrency

Facebook has joined dozens of companies in support of the new social network cryptocurrency that is expected to be launched soon and among them has big names reported on The Wall Street Journal on Thursday.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Uber are some of the most lucrative companies that will support the new Facebook technology. Each of them will invest nearly $10 million in the consortium that will oversee cryptocurrency, the WSJ reported, citing people close to the issue.

The money will be used to fund the creation of a currency that could be exchanged with some of the world’s most powerful paper money, the report further said. The social network decides not to comment on the report. Last week, it was reported that Facebook is close to the debut  this month the cryptocurrency.

While the encryption blockchain will be much more centralized than bitcoins with 100 or fewer nodes in the payment network, the company will benefit from outsourcing assistance to keep the system running.

Apart from building trust, this system would be a frontier payment platform. A smooth launch would be vital to the health of the counterfeiter without mentioning the need to address the troubles with the regulatory authorities which have shown little skepticism about cryptocurrencies.

Chrome 76 Signs the Termination of Adobe Flash and Some Other Great Features

Google Chrome’s latest great novelty was the “Dark Mode” mode on Chrome 73 and 74, while version 75 did not bring visible changes. But today with Chrome 76 beta new features are coming for you to enjoy. While Adobe Flash will deliver the latest spirit in 2020 and has been blocked by almost every major browser, Chrome 76 is taking a step further.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Not only individual partitions of Flash are automatically blocked, but now the entire Flash feature in the browser will be blocked. If you have installed the beta version than its enough to type in the chrome://settings/content/flash field, you will notice that the function is active automatically.

But what are some other changes on Chrome 76?

Another change is that websites can no longer understand when you are browsing privately or otherwise known as “Incognito.” For The New York Times publishers it will be almost impossible to trace and learn how much free articles you have read and when to be promoted in paid subscriptions.

Even Dark Mode itself has some improvements. Developers can now program their sites to automatically provide darker versions of websites by simply adding a few more code if they learn that Dark Mode in Chrome is turned on.

The stable version of Chrome 76 will debut on July 30th.

Huawei is reported that is near the registration and licensing of the new operating system called “Hongmeng” in Peru. This move by giant technology comes at a time when it faces American sanctions that ban the use of company technology like Microsoft, Intel, Qualcomm and Google.

Last Month, Google decided to discontinue Android updates to its company. Huawei phones are currently working on a Google Android version and the company has said there are no immediate plans to launch the Hongmeng operating system.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Huawei had started inviting developers to publish their apps in the App Gallery store. A trademark application for Hongmeng was made at the National Institute for the Protection of Free Competition and Intellectual Property, according to Reuters news agency.

Samsung will bring the new generation of The Wall TV, with 292 inches and 8K resolution

Last year at CES, Samsung announced a TV called “The Wall”. He was named such because of his enormous size that measures 146 inches, allowing him to stretch across a whole wall.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

If you think a 146-inch TV is big, you’re not mistaken, but Samsung has a new “The Wall” TV, which will blur its predecessor. With the next generation of The Wall TV, Samsung has doubled its screen size to 292 inches.

The device also comes with 8K resolution, which means that all content displayed on it needs to be quite fresh. The screen includes the use of microLED and also bezel-less edges to help create a giant panel.

Samsung has also announced that the device will be available this July, but it is not mentioned at all how much it will cost.

Is this the first look of the Samsung Galaxy S11?

According to recent published patents, it appears that Samsung continues to work on a “bezel-less” phone with a screen surrounding the sides of the device, offering not only a full front panel, but also a significant amount of screen that includes four sides of the device.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The details come from the Let’s Go Digital team, who have been following the design history for some time.

According to the information, the front camera and related sensors are applied to the curved portion of the screen.

The curved screen ensures that the whole look looks aesthetically good. The fingerprint sensor is also processed under the screen.

The camera system on the backside accommodates some camera lenses, which are applied to the right part of the panel in the middle.

However, the final design may differ from sketch, as it is not a design patent, but utility. In other words, it has to do with technology innovation and the profits and benefits of the invention.

As always with patents, the publication of techniques and methods does not necessarily mean that it will be made available to consumers, but given what we know about Samsung’s plans for their smartphones over the next twelve months, it would be expected something similar to launch in 2020, with the Galaxy S11 as the main device.

Facebook will pays you if you let it track the phone

Facebook will once again pay people to monitor how they use their phones through an app called Study.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The app will monitor which apps are installed on a person’s phone, the time spent on them, the location you are, and other additional information that reveals specific uses.

Facebook says it will not see any specific content like messages, passwords, or websites that users visit.

Study comes a few months after the company eliminated a similar application called Facebook Research after many criticisms that drew.

The app was dedicated to teenagers and was available on iPhone. It uses a special certificate to override App Store restrictions and gain deep access to the phone.

The launch of Study shows Facebook’s famine about data and the way people use their phones. The study will only be available for users over 18 and only on Android where deep access can be guaranteed for every user.

Age of users will be verified by their Facebook account. Participants must have a PayPal account to be paid.

The social network did not unveil how much it would pay people to use the application but not everyone can enroll in the Study. Currently it is available only in the USA and India.

Samsung to produce the Snapdragon 865 processor

The Samsung EUV 7nm production process has brought a number of major contracts to South Korean company.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Qualcomm chose Samsung to create the Snapdragon 865 processor, skipping TSMC.

The deal has not yet been completed, but according to sources it is in the final phase.

TSMC was the Qualcomm Snapdragon choice for the 845 and 855 processors of 7nm, which took over this role from Samsung after the company produced 820 and 835 processors.

Qualcomm believes that the Samung EUV 7nm process is more advanced than the 7th TSMC process. Previously appeared information that would have two versions of the Snapdragon 865-standard processor model with the X55 5G modem.

Samsung will also produce a GPU processor for Nvidia, which has been used by TSMC for years.

Samsung and AMD have also collaborated in creating a GPU for mobile, but AMD still holds TSMC when it comes to producing new Zen 2 CPUs and Navi cards.
