VAIO SX12 – The Laptop with the most ports?

At a time when we approach systems with less and less ports, it reaches a VAIO SX12 laptop, probably with the largest number of ports in a model.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The picture below illustrates what kind of port the laptop offers.

We’re talking:

  • 3x USB-A
  • USB-C
  • HDMI
  • Ethernet
  • An SD card slot
  • VGA(!)
  • A headphone jack

The inside of the device brings the eight GEN Intel CPUs in the Core i5 or Core i7 format up to 16GB of RAM and SSD up to 1TB.

VAIO offers a battery up to 14 hours, a large keyboard, an optional LTE connection, a multi-touch trackpad with two keyboards, a fingerprint sensor, a 12.5-inch protective layer.

The VAIO SX12 will first appear in Japan at a price of $1,100 to $2,000, depending on the equipment that the user sets and the color of the laptop.

Intel's secret plan means trouble for new AMD Ryzen processors

Intel’s secret plan means trouble for new AMD Ryzen processors

You might think that the only way Intel can deal with the third-generation AMD Ryzen processor remains 10-nanometer architecture but you’re wrong.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The company has not yet abandoned the 14-nm processors and according to recent information Intel has prepared some new models. Intel plans a full of 13 processors “Comet Lake” including a 5.2Ghz version with 10 Core, Core i9-10900KF.

The latter will have massive 5.2Ghz frequency for only one core when 4.6Ghz for all cores, or 500Mhz more than the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.

The prize will be the key to success. The Intel processor is expected to cost $499, just as much as the Ryzen 9 3900X. However a disappointment may be the processor socket that will be new, the LGA 1159. This means that the current boards do not support these new Intel processors. From two generations, Cofee Lake processors have been operating at LGA 1151.

Finally, and perhaps the most important information is the number of processes – threads – that will have the 13 new processors. All are expected to have double the predecessor’s core and Intel has decided to activate hyper-threading for all 14-nm +++ products.

It would be great news in the battle against AMD. Recall that Core i5-9600K and Core i7-9700K had high performance while using cores but not threads “lagging behind AMD. The move is expected to increase multi-process performance and increase frequency that can prove fatal to AMD Ryzen 3.

Lenovo Z6

Lenovo Z6 with Snapdragon 730 and a triple camera Launched

Lenovo did an excellent job of promoting the next Z6 phone, from camera capabilities to the full list of specifications, leaving no imagination for the launch event.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Now the smartphone is officially launched and should not come as a surprise that it will have the same specifications that the company discovered before the launch.

The screen is 6.39 inches and is an OLED panel with 2340 x 1080 resolution and 19.5: 9 ratio, operating at 120Hz. There is a fingerprint scanner underneath the screen, and a space in the upper part of the 16MP selfie camera.

The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 and comes in a pair of 6 or 8GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of expandable internal space.

The camera trio consists of a 24MP aperture f/1.8 camera, a 8MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom capability and a 5MP depth sensor. The power of everything is powered by Android-based ZuI 11 and a 4,000mAh battery with fast 15W charging support.

The phone is pre-order in China and will be available on July 9, with a $275 initial price, up to $365 for the 8GB/128GB model.

LG G8S Global Launch Confirmed

LG G8S Global Launch Confirmed

Many LG fans have been looking for G8S ThinQ, however, the company has kept it directly out of the reach of the world.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

LG introduced this device in Taiwan, where it has remained exclusive for some time now. However, the wait for LG fans is finally over. The company has confirmed it is now launching the LG G8S ThinQ globally.

As the name suggests, the LG G8S is a bit different from the G8. It’s more or less the same device with some minor changes and an extra camera. While the LG G8 has only two rear cameras, the G8S has a standard, wide system, and a telephoto camera at the back. There is also a Z-Camera depth sensor at the front for facial and gesture recognition.

LG also increased the screen size from 6.1 to 6.2 inches but lowered the resolution from 1440p to 1080p. The panel itself is still OLED. Core specifications remain the same, however, with a Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

LG will offer the black and white device later this month in Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Price information will be revealed at launch.

Lenovo launches the 5G Edition of their Z6 PRO phone With Snapdragon X50 Modem

Lenovo Z6 Pro, unveiled in April, is a ‘true beast’, but what was missing was 5G.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The company took care of this at MWC in Shanghai, as the Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition was officially launched.

As for the specifications, the Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition features the same specifications as the original, in addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G modem chip that takes care of the connection.

To distinguish two designs, the company made the Z6 Pro 5G Edition transparent in the back, which could be real transparency, or it can be just an inside material to illustrate what’s under the back cover.

Price details and availability have not yet been made public.

Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i with a 7-nm Kirin 810 Processor Revealed

Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i with a 7-nm Kirin 810 Processor Revealed

Huawei revealed three new phones: Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i with a 7-nanometer Kirin 810 processor.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The debut comes at a time when Huawei‘s future is unclear after Google terminated the Android license last month. As a result, it is not known how these phones will be updated. It is also unknown how long they will have access to the Google Play Store if they are also released outside China.

The Kirin 810 processor is found on the Nova 5 model, while the Nova 5 Pro has the Kirin 980 processor as the Huawei P30 Pro and Mate 20. The new processor introduced today by Kirin 810 has eight cores like Kirin 980, but two of the 980 high performance cores are replaced with two small efficient cores.

Also the fate of ARM designers remains unclear because the British chip design house broke up links with Huawei.

Nova 5 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory while the Nova 5 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory. Both smartphones are similar to the 6.39-inch OLED screens, four rear cameras with 48-megapixel, 16-megapixel secondary sensors and the other two with 2-megapixels. Both phones have 3,500mAh batteries.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_5″]

Finally Nova 5i is a budget variant of the first two with the slower processor Kirin 710. As it stores four rear cameras, the main sensor is only 24-megapixel and has an LCD screen instead of OLED.

Nova 5 costs $400, Nova 5 Pro $436 and Nova 5i $320.

Samsung Galaxy Fold

A Samsung Executive Says Galaxy Fold Screen Problems are Solved

When Samsung sent Galaxy Fold to a number of well-known technology analysts, it became apparent immediately that the phone had problems.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

They went out of function because of the dust and impurities that had come under the screen because the analysts in question had removed a protective layer, thinking it was the screen protector used in other phones as well.

Samsung then had to fall back all models to make some adjustments to one of the most anticipated phones of the year.

Now it seems that the phone is near the debut. According to a report by The Korea Herald, vice president of Samsung Display Kim Seong-cheol said that “most screen problems have been addressed and Galaxy Fold will soon hit the markets.”

We hope that there is no misunderstanding and people will not face other major problems at a 2000 dollar phone.

Seong-cheol says the phone is ready while there have been reports that his debut will be postponed in July. Galaxy Fold had to arrive on April 26 when it was postponed due to the aforementioned problems.

Samsung is struggling with anyone to give the phone a successful start and not put in a similar situation with the Galaxy Note 7. With Note 10 ready to debut in August, it would be easy for Samsung to bring Galaxy Fold.

However there are reports that this has to happen earlier.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 uses the same 15.6 “screen as the ThinkPad X1 Extreme but is built as a workstation and includes options such as NVIDIA Quadro GPU, multiple SSDs, Xeon processors and OLED display.

From the standpoint of storage, the ThinkPad T1 seems to have up to two 2TB SSD modules (4TB total) that can also be configured on RAID-0 or RAID-1 if you want performance or additional data security.

The 80Wh large battery will help keep your laptop and running as long as possible. ThinkPad P1 (gen2) should start selling this month for $1,949 and beyond.

Chrome 76 Signs the Termination of Adobe Flash and Some Other Great Features

Chrome 76 Signs the Termination of Adobe Flash and Some Other Great Features

Google Chrome’s latest great novelty was the “Dark Mode” mode on Chrome 73 and 74, while version 75 did not bring visible changes. But today with Chrome 76 beta new features are coming for you to enjoy. While Adobe Flash will deliver the latest spirit in 2020 and has been blocked by almost every major browser, Chrome 76 is taking a step further.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Not only individual partitions of Flash are automatically blocked, but now the entire Flash feature in the browser will be blocked. If you have installed the beta version than its enough to type in the chrome://settings/content/flash field, you will notice that the function is active automatically.

But what are some other changes on Chrome 76?

Another change is that websites can no longer understand when you are browsing privately or otherwise known as “Incognito.” For The New York Times publishers it will be almost impossible to trace and learn how much free articles you have read and when to be promoted in paid subscriptions.

Even Dark Mode itself has some improvements. Developers can now program their sites to automatically provide darker versions of websites by simply adding a few more code if they learn that Dark Mode in Chrome is turned on.

The stable version of Chrome 76 will debut on July 30th.

Samsung will bring the new generation of The Wall TV, with 292 inches and 8K resolution

Samsung will bring the new generation of The Wall TV, with 292 inches and 8K resolution

Last year at CES, Samsung announced a TV called “The Wall”. He was named such because of his enormous size that measures 146 inches, allowing him to stretch across a whole wall.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

If you think a 146-inch TV is big, you’re not mistaken, but Samsung has a new “The Wall” TV, which will blur its predecessor. With the next generation of The Wall TV, Samsung has doubled its screen size to 292 inches.

The device also comes with 8K resolution, which means that all content displayed on it needs to be quite fresh. The screen includes the use of microLED and also bezel-less edges to help create a giant panel.

Samsung has also announced that the device will be available this July, but it is not mentioned at all how much it will cost.
