The 13-inch device will use a customized Microsoft chip called the SQ1 based on Qualcomm Snapdragon and an AI accelerator. Microsoft and Qualcomm have also worked to build custom graphics cores for the Surface Pro X which will have Windows 10 version of ARM.

Surface Pro X goes on sale November 5th starting at $999. Comes with USB-C port and LTE connectivity. The screen has a 1400: 1 contrast ratio and 2880 × 1920 resolution that can be replaced with another 4K.

Surface Pro X is 5.3mm thin and weighs 760 grams. It also has a hard drive that can be easily removed.

Alongside with Qualcomm, Microsoft designed the SQ1 chip. ARM has long been working to bring chip designs to laptops, desktops and even servers. With each new generation, the company is talking about bringing its processors to more desktop devices. Microsoft partnership is a good chance to get closer to this goal.

Camera Comparison: iPhone 11 Pro vs Galaxy Note 10 vs Google Pixel 3 vs Huawei P30 Pro

Camera Comparison: iPhone 11 Pro vs Galaxy Note 10 vs Google Pixel 3 vs Huawei P30 Pro

Photography is one of the biggest battles when comparing high-end smartphones – especially between some of the most “powerful players” of Android and of course the iPhone 11 Pro.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

To see which smartphones have the best cameras, Androidcentral has done some testing: where the iPhone 11 Pro competes with the Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 3 and Huawei P30 Pro.

Best Camera Phone? iPhone 11 Pro vs Galaxy Note 10 vs Google Pixel 3 vs Huawei P30 Pro

With different launch times, it is known that there is never a better moment to compare the phone cameras. In this form, the Pixel 3 and P30 Pro are included in comparison with the soon-to-be-released Google Pixel 4 and the newly launched Mate 30 Pro. Comparisons of new phones will certainly be included.

Right now, we have these four phones, considered to have the best cameras of the best. Here’s how they compare. Phones sets left and right, bottom and top: iPhone 11 Pro, Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 3 and Huawei P30 Pro. In the images posted below with telephoto and wide angle, the Pixel 3 drops but the other three phones remain at the same level.

#1. Daytime shoots

In iPhone photos, there is a very good balance between displaying a nature image while still being visually interesting. Pixel 3 is much more natural, though it would be much more fun to color in certain parts.

All three phones can take good pictures, though the iPhone 11 Pro is the most durable of them all when shooting in daylight.

#2. Low light photos

Note 10 is clearly the weakest when shooting photos in low light, not having the capability of specialized photo editing like the rest of the group.

P30 Pro has done a similar processing as HDR, in light and color, but it has not been capable even in light enough. It can be said that phones and wide-angle images in low light are still quite weak.

Which camera is better?

Generally, these phones have good cameras when taking photos in normal light. When there are not comparisons with pictures placed side by side, it is difficult to find any flaws. Portrait mode can always be enhanced, while full daylight shooting can be done well by all phones.

While the iPhone 11 Pro is very stable and accurate, Note 10 offers contrast and attention, Pixel 3 is neutral and precise, and the P30 Pro is balanced between the Note and iPhone.

Microsoft unveils Surface Duo, a folding screen phone

Microsoft is back to the phone business and not only but they started with a folding screen phone. Surface Duo isn’t actually a folding screen but it’s a two screens connected together similar to the ZTE Axon M.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

As a result there is a gap between the two screens. The second screen is designed for writing and checking and not to interfere with it or watch a movie. Interestingly, this phone is a collaboration between Microsoft and Google. Instead of offering a version of Windows 10 for this device, the Surface Duo comes with Android.

The phone won’t debut until next year, giving Microsoft enough time to offer it to developers who will create apps for it. Also as the device was introduced almost 1 year ago, many things can change until it is finalized.

Mate 30 can’t install Google apps, even manually!

Huawei‘s latest phones, the Mate 30 series, have lost the ability to manually install Google apps, Bloomberg reported today.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

According to the report, security researcher John Wu published a blog post explaining how buyers of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro models could manually install Google apps despite US sanctions banning Huawei from accessing US technology, hardware and software.

But according to some security experts, the Mate 30 models have already lost that chance of manually installing Android apps. Mate 30 is the company’s first major flagship launched under the shadow of US sanctions in May.

Alongside the method Wu released, an app that makes it easier to install Google apps and services on the Mate 30 called LZPlay was launched but has now been removed. The privileges required to install Google Apps have now been revoked and users of these phones cannot install Google Maps or Gmail applications.

In the last one or two months, leaked photos and FCC recordings have revealed that GoPro may have some new cameras in development.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

One of those cameras is GoPro Hero 8 and the other is GoPro Max.

GoPro has now officially announced both devices.

Starting with the GoPro Hero 8 Black, this is essentially the latest camera in the GoPro Hero series of cameras. One of the improvements GoPro has made is that the camera comes with HyperSmooth 2.0 video stabilization, which is an image stabilization technology.

There are also features like a new Boost mode, TimeWarp 2.0, improved audio and more. There is even support for modes which are essentially devices that you can attach to the camera. They are Media Mod, Display Mod and a Light Mod.

Hero 8 Black is priced at $399 while accessories will be priced from $49.99 to $79.99.

Last but not least is the GoPro Max, which as we saw earlier is a 360 degree camera.

The images are authentic and Blass has a good track record with such publications. He also closed his tweets with another product which was not specified with photos but which is a dual-screen Surface.

Microsoft is expected to present all of these devices at an event in New York on Wednesday. In the past it has been unusual for such a large-scale product to emerge as it did today with the Surface two days before its debut.

However, the information does not even compare to that of Pixel phones which are the most commented and detailed online devices for long before the official launch.

Apple launches iOS 13.1.2

Apple is keeping up with iOS 13 at a high pace. On Friday the company released iOS 13.1.1 addressing some malfunctions in the operating system while iOS 13.1 debuted on September 24th.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Today Apple launched iOS 13.1.2 and iPadOS 13.1.2 Update.

The latest update comes to fix some issues with iCloud backups, camera, flash light, Bluetooth and HomePod. It also targets an unusual problem that could result in the loss of “screen calibration data.”

You can find the latest iOS and iPadOS update by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. These quick updates come thanks to the high control Apple enjoys with its iPhone and iPad hardware and software.

It’s probably not good for the company that launches a major version of the flawed operating system but at least is not spending time addressing it.

OnePlus 7T Comes with Android 10 and Unmatched Price Tag

In recent years OnePlus has applied a six month refresher cycle between the company products. The model in question has worked properly and has troubled the waters of many competitors trying to maintain stable sales.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

As usual the second flagship of the year is a refinement of the first. OnePlus 7T adopts the 7 Pro’s 90Hz AMOLED display accompanied by a triple camera system at the rear.

The lenses are 48 megapixels main, 2x secondary telephoto and a third 117 degree camera. The speakers include Dolby Atmos and fast charging technology promising a full charge in just one hour.

As a result this process is 25% faster than the previous Warp Charge model. But perhaps the most interesting detail is included in Android 10.

The best thing about this flagship is the price. The OnePlus 7T costs $599 and goes on sale October 18th. It’s a great price for a piece of hardware in an era where flagships exceed $1,000.

Forget Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10, this is the smartphone you should buy

Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 are among the best smartphones for 2019. But now the new Galaxy S11 tells users what they are missing.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The Elec has revealed that Samsung has updated the Galaxy S11 with a larger on-screen fingerprint scanner. For better performance, the fingerprint scanner will be much larger, The Elec said.

The scanner on the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 is 36 millimeters square. According to sources close to the issue, the S11 will be equipped with a 64-square-foot spacing for fingerprints.

Duplicating the scanner size on the Galaxy S11 is a major update, and there is a good reason. This is because users find it difficult to pinpoint exactly when the scanner is on the screen.

This means that users can place their fingers anywhere on the bottom 1/3 of the phone to turn it on. And that’s a good thing, considering that we can open the phone 52 to 150 times a day.

We also know that Samsung’s next-generation smartphone will have new design, performance enhancements, new memory, new battery technology and AI-focused cameras.
