Why are our smartphones so good, but the batteries are so bad?

Why are our smartphones so good, but the batteries are so bad?

Even with the largest batteries and external battery packs, the most modern smartphones have a lot of work to do at the end of the day, while the best devices can barely spend two days without charging.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Before, the phones had a longer battery life, which lasted a few days without the need for charging. Our smartphones are more powerful than, for example, the Nokia 3310, but why are the batteries not so powerful?

According to Venkat Srinivasan, an expert in battery technology, the explanation is very simple. Moore’s law has left battery technology behind, which means that our phones have improved, and require more power at a higher rate than the advancements made in the batteries.

This does not mean that there have been no improvements. Energy density has been increasing steadily over the last few years while internal components have declined. The rechargeable batteries we use today in phones are based on lithium cobalt, a technology that has been in use since the 1990s, and we have reached the maximum energy we can get from it.

There is hope for the future as researchers are looking for a new battery technology, such as solid batteries, that can open doors for more material to boost battery power. Yes, there is a cake, as at the time of using these batteries, the phones of the future will have advanced even more and you may need more power to hold the charge more than a day.

Shared Hosting vs VPS: The Best Choice for Small Companies? (2019 Guide)

Shared Hosting vs VPS: The Best Choice for Small Companies? (2019 Guide)

What is the difference between the virtual private server (VPS) hosting and Shared Hosting? In this post we want to help you identify the right package for a small business.

What to choose between Shared Hosting vs. VPS?

KISSmetrics reports that 47% of consumers require websites to have a loading time of 2 seconds or less. If the loading time of the site is higher the likelihood of traffic loss and revenue is high.

This is one of the many reasons why good hosts are important. In the host market, there are many opportunities and alternatives that are marketed, including Shared Hosting and VPS packages.

Okay, but … exactly, what are these? What is the best option? Continue reading to be informed. We have summarized everything you need to know about these different hosting

VPS Hosting vs. Shared Hosting: Where’s the Difference?

VPS Hosting vs. Shared Hosting: Where's the Difference?
VPS Hosting vs. Shared Hosting: Where’s the Difference?

Every web page needs a “home”. It is with this point hosted. Host is the server on which the web site is located. There are several different types of web hosts. The two most used are VPS hosting and Shared Hosting. The easiest way to compare them is to design them as tariff plans for the phone.

Some clients have packages attached to the personal number only. Others share data and are part of family formulas. The host also works same. Some clients share the server with other clients. Each customer has server expectations in terms of bandwidth in use and “fined” if they exceed the contractual terms. This is Shared Hosting. VPS Hosting is more personal. Each web page has its own server.

How to Choose the Right Package for Smaller Companies?

How to Choose the Right Package for Smaller Companies?
How to Choose the Right Package for Smaller Companies?

Where do you need to rely to choose the best package for your company? The answer is depending on the elements you are looking for from a server. Do you need a cheaper package or a first-quality service that offers the best performance and connectivity?

Although shared hosting is not necessarily of poor quality, however, it is shared among numerous customers. As a result, the security risk is higher and the performance is weaker than in the case of the VPS server. This is because the monthly server traffic is shared with other clients. The ‘coexistence’ on the server affects the extremely low prices. However, if one of the sites is “stolen”, your site may be affected.

VPS Hosting is a more qualitative option. In this type of server, there is no ‘room sharing’. The room is all personal, so security and monthly transfers are better. However, this premium category “flat” costs. VPS hosting has a higher price than shared hosting. While pricing and performance may differ drastically from one hosting company to another, the fact remains that the cost of shared hosting is just a fraction of the VPS hosting.

You should seek information about both the company and the service. Not always high prices give the best quality. Ask for qualitative results and satisfied customers.

Reliability matters in the choice of hosting

Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i with a 7-nm Kirin 810 Processor Revealed

Huawei revealed three new phones: Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i with a 7-nanometer Kirin 810 processor.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The debut comes at a time when Huawei‘s future is unclear after Google terminated the Android license last month. As a result, it is not known how these phones will be updated. It is also unknown how long they will have access to the Google Play Store if they are also released outside China.

The Kirin 810 processor is found on the Nova 5 model, while the Nova 5 Pro has the Kirin 980 processor as the Huawei P30 Pro and Mate 20. The new processor introduced today by Kirin 810 has eight cores like Kirin 980, but two of the 980 high performance cores are replaced with two small efficient cores.

Also the fate of ARM designers remains unclear because the British chip design house broke up links with Huawei.

Nova 5 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory while the Nova 5 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory. Both smartphones are similar to the 6.39-inch OLED screens, four rear cameras with 48-megapixel, 16-megapixel secondary sensors and the other two with 2-megapixels. Both phones have 3,500mAh batteries.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_5″]

Finally Nova 5i is a budget variant of the first two with the slower processor Kirin 710. As it stores four rear cameras, the main sensor is only 24-megapixel and has an LCD screen instead of OLED.

Nova 5 costs $400, Nova 5 Pro $436 and Nova 5i $320.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Before you have a perfect homepage and imagine an ideal design, you should first get your website online. To do this, you need to purchase the domain and find the proper hosting services for the website.

In this post we will show you everything you need to know about the three most common types of hosting. Read on to find out which option is best for your needs and where to find reliable services to get your website online.

1. Shared Hosting

1. Shared Hosting
1. Shared Hosting

If your main focus is the limited budget – then consider “shared server hosting“.

With shared hosting, you share the same server with other websites. This means that your website shares RAM, CPU and bandwidth with these other web sites.

The load of other pages on the server where your website hosts affects the time of uploading your website. For this reason, companies start with shared hosting and transfer to another plan when the traffic increased to their website.

2. Virtual Private Server (VPS)

2. Virtual Private Server (VPS)
2. Virtual Private Server (VPS)

One of the most common types of web server is known as a virtual private server, or short VPS.

> Check Out: VPS vs. Dedicated Server: When you should upgrade the hosting package?

The best way to describe this type of server is how to have your private apartment in a building with other residents. Your website will still share a physical server with other websites.

However, you will have your private server share – like the door of your apartment. So none other than you can have access to this virtual server. So, despite sharing the same hardware with other websites, each one gets its own separate resources from the server.

This way you will save some, as you do not rent the entire server for yourself. Your website will also have greater stability. A sudden surge of traffic to one of the other website’s on the server will not leave your site offline.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_5″ tdc_css=””]

3. Dedicated Server

3. Dedicated Server
3. Dedicated Server

Just as your website – and business in general – increases, you may want to switch to a dedicated web server.

As the name indicates, the dedicated server means that the physical server you are renting from the hosting company is for exclusive use only by you. You do not share the server with other websites, so if your website gets large amounts of traffic, a dedicated web server is something that you have to consider.

YES, the dedicated server is more expensive. But with the growth of the bill, you also increase the resources available and the level of control over these resources. However, if your website is still in the growth phase, the dedicated server may not be needed yet.

Which of These Alternatives to Server Hosting you will Choose?

We hope this post has helped you better understand the hosting server alternatives.

2020 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe Revealed with 523 HP

Initially it was seen being tested, then in some scattered images, until some images of the car appeared, until the official presentation, reports Telegraph.

The term “Gran Coupe” is used by BMW for four-door cars, which have a ceiling as if they were fitted, combined with the practical style of a sedan.

With large body changes, this model is 1.2 inches larger than the 8 Series Coupe, or the biggest car that BMW has produced so far. The front windshield is less sloping to create a large space for the ceiling, which has allowed more room for the front passenger’s head.

The glass panel reaches up to the back of the ceiling, giving the feeling of more space, but the carbon fiber ceiling is also available to reduce weight and increase the center of gravity.

What about the interior of 2020 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe

The interior has been borrowed from the 8 Series Coupe, only because it has the highest level of luxury since Nappa leather for seats and side parts has been used, while the gearbox is wrapped with Swarovski crystals. The rear seats are separate, while they have the option of heating, as well as USB-C ports.

The base model comes with 335 horsepower, which enables speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour, for 4.6 seconds. This model is also available with 523 horsepower, which can reach within 3.7 seconds, speeds from zero to 100 kilometers per hour.

Buyers of the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe base model have to pay $84,900, while for more options, the price rises to $108,999.

BMW X7: Is Bigger But Is It Better?

BMW X7: Is Bigger But Is It Better?

50% of the demand for the BMW X7 comes from North America. Americans like big cars, and this is clearly seen by the use of Toyota Tacoma.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The BMW X7 is part of the BMW luxury car line, along with the i8, Serie 7 and 8, although the latter can be considered grand tourer and sports car respectively. 2 meters wide and 5.1 meters long, the X7 is the largest and the longest SUV available today.

Some may argue that it gives the X7 road presence and reliability for passenger safety, however in parking spaces and standard roads, the car is so big that you may feel limited and frightened.

The seven seat version is not the only option. For multi-family families, the seven-seat version is a fantastic version. But fortunately there is another version for those who do not want such a big car.

> Related: BMW X7 Vs. Mercedes GLS

Also welcome are the luxurious details that have basic packages, such as headlamp technology, or rear seatbacks that are folded with the commands on the button on both sides of the vehicle.

Radar tracking, along with lane holder, leads the X7 to a level close to autonomy but not complete. With all the drivers supports, you have enough time to relax, relax and contemplate. As you can imagine yourself, the BMW X7 has leather seats, comfortable and digital.

Also, the screen that is reflected on the driver of the vehicle is of high quality. In short, this BMW system is best so far. Everything has been done to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment for passengers, but in particular for the driver.

On the road, the BMW X7 is refined. It can be a big car to park, but the comfort and ease that is on the road is impressive. No noise from outside is heard inside the booth.

Currently available are xDrive30d and M50d, at $119,900 and $169,900 respectively. An M50i variant will arrive in October 2019. It’s not a surprise that the X7 is a heavy car, it is full of 2.4 tons. That’s why it will take a lot of horsepower and revolving power to drive this beast.

In the end we can say that the X7 is a refined, comfortable and impressive car for a SUV of this segment. But we can say that there is a weakness, the BMW X5 M50d. About $57,000 cheaper than the X7 equivalent, X5 is easier to park, equipped with the same technology, and represents a serious rival.
