May 2020 Windows 10 Update

Microsoft is releasing the first May 2020 major update to Windows 10

Known as Windows 10 Version 2004, this update brings some new features to Microsoft’s desktop operating system

After almost a year and a half of testing, Windows 10’s May 2020 update is available for download. Coded Windows 10 Version 2004, this update brings some new features to Microsoft’s desktop operating system.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Most notable is a new File Explorer, but it can’t be left without mentioning the improved search functionality, support for passwordless connection, and a new Cortana experience.

But the most important at least in our eyes is the Cloud Download option. This option makes Windows 10 reset much easier to a previous configuration. Virtual desktops and DirectX 12 Ultimate have been improved.

To download the new update you need to check if it has been made available to you in Windows Update. Visit Windows Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update> Check for Updates. If it is ready for download you will notice a message “Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004” to appear in the optional updates. Just click “Download and install now” to proceed with its installation.

It will not be available to everyone at the same time and may arrive in a few weeks. Using the Update Assistant you can force the installation of the update before it appears in Windows Update.

We advise you to avoid updating as Windows 10 updates in recent months have had problems that have cost users dearly. Microsoft uses the update phase to address the issues that appear in the first users, thus avoiding a catastrophe for the entire Windows 10 user base that exceeds 900 million.

The next major update to Windows 10 will come in the second half of 2020 and will focus on security updates and minor adjustments instead of new features.

Here’s what to expect from Android 11

After Developer Preview of Android 11, we now know more of what to expect specifically from the latest version of the operating system. It is not yet advisable to install it on a smartphone as it is still very unstable. However, it is not bad to learn what innovations we will enjoy after the update officially arrives.

Android 11 Release
[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

So, here’s what to expect from Android 11

  • Screen recorder Google has been playing with this feature for some time and an icon is already present in the Quick Settings window. This time we expect a finalized version with even more specific options.
  • Chat bubbles: More or less like Messenger, the chat circles with another contact which float across the screen over any application will be available for all chat programs. Telegram and WhatsApp work best with it.
  • Menu distribution: The distribution window will allow you to select 4 favorite apps. So when you want to share something you won’t have to waste time with other apps. Also the most frequent contacts.
  • Stop notifications during registration: When you are taking a picture or video, the sound or vibration of a message can be annoying. Android 11 will allow you to restrict both.
  • Airplane Mode no longer shuts down Bluetooth: Up to Android 10, the Airplane mode also turned off Bluetooth, at 11 this will no longer be a problem. It can be used without restrictions even when the waves are closed.
  • Notification story: Android does not allow you to view notifications once you have removed them. The new system will allow you to see them all in the new notification history option.
  • Removal of permissions for unused applications: In the “App Permissions” section of each application, a new function will be found, which will deny all the permissions given for accessing that application. If an app has received your authorization for location, photos, or other data, if you have not used it for a long time you may deny this right.
  • One-time permission: Android 10 allows apps to retrieve your location data, microphone, or camera only when open. Now with Android 11 you will be able to give them permission only once and then the system will take away their right.
  • Support for curved screens: The latter are a trend among Android devices, developers will now have the opportunity to better manage these spaces by defining them as interactive areas.
  • New technology: Android 11 will be better suited to folding devices technologies and 5G. It will also include low-latency video decoding for gaming services such as Google Stadia.
  • Windows inside windows: Multitasking has always been a priority and feature of Android and this time the small window will be able to be enlarged or reduced more easily. Just like on a PC, just grab one of the 4 corners of the window and redefine it.

We have already entered the second phase of the launch, which will be finalized in August, where the official update of Android 11 will begin.

New HP EliteBook laptops refreshed with AMD Ryzen 4000 & 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake CPUs

HP EliteBook laptops are designed for practicality rather than advanced functionality

The company yesterday unveiled new updated models with some mandatory updates such as the 10th generation Intel Core processors and AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 series. Two laptops from this line are the ones that stand out the most: EliteBook x360 1030 G7 and 1040 G7. They fall into the category of convertible devices that can be used as laptops but also tablets promising 5G technology and battery life up to 29 hours according to the company.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

All models have a new redesigned keyboard which is quieter and a webcam which worries privacy the most. The convertible x360 models have a smaller design compared to their predecessors.

HP EliteBook X360 1040 G7

No other laptop better represents the innovative business value and potential of HP laptops than the EliteBook X360 1040 G7 and EliteBook x360 1030 G7 models. They are the most expensive and the most complete in terms of what they can do.

x360 1040 G7 has a 14-inch screen while x360 1030 G7 has a 13-inch screen. They are essentially the same except for the screen size. EliteBook x360 1040 G7 has an aluminum design with a thickness of 1.5cm and a weight of 1.2 kg. HP says that laptops have a smaller screen frame than any other business laptop.

The 14-inch screen can be equipped with a 1080p or 4K touch panel. The 1080p variant saves a lot of money and has a brightness of 400 nits otherwise 550 nits on the 4K panel.

Inside they hides an Intel Core 10-Gen processor up to Core i7-10810U with RAM up to 32GB and SSD M.2 up to 2TB. A fingerprint sensor is hidden on the keyboard along with a privacy button. Including 5G technology.

HP EliteBook 855 G7

The next laptop unveiled belongs to the mid-range and what makes it special is the AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 series processor. These processors were introduced by AMD just a few weeks ago.

Specifically, the EliteBook 855 G7 has an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U processor with 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. The 15.6-inch screen has a 1080p panel with a brightness of 250 or 500 nits. The EliteBook G7 is 1.77cm thick and weighs 1.67kg.

There are advanced options like the 1000 series with fingerprint scanner, privacy camera but only 4G LTE connectivity. The laptop goes on sale in August along with the 835 G7 and 845 G7 subvariants.

HP EliteBook 850 G7

The latest but not the least model belongs to the budget line of the 800 series. HP has applied changes to make these laptops benefit from the 1000 series technology but at a lower price.

The EliteBook 850 G6 is 2cm thick and weighs 1.76 kilograms. It has a screen that covers 87% of the panel and a thin frame at the bottom and top of it. With a size of 15.60 inches, the screen is a 1080p panel.

HP will equip the laptop with processors up to Core i7-10810U, up to 64GB RAM and 1TB PCIe m.2 SSD.

Finally the EliteBook 850 G7 has Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card. It goes on sale in June with a starting price of $1,399.

Judas Means For Rockstar Games-min

What Judas means for Rockstar Games

In 2016, there were some riots caused by Rockstar Games, when the company applied for a trademark called “Judas”

As a name never associated with Rockstar Games, Judas immediately sparked much speculation as to what it meant as a name or code name. Now in 2020, the parent company of Rockstar has renewed this trademark, but what is its meaning?

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

JUDAS TRADEMARK

As mentioned above, the registration of this trademark by Rockstar is actually old news. The fact that this trademark was renewed in 2020 has sparked a spark in all theories, a reaction that is more than understandable. Take-Two and Rockstar Games have shown in the past with Agent that trademarks are important and that they can reflect the stage of development of a game.

A MEDIEVAL IP FROM THE ROCKSTAR ANA

Something that immediately comes to mind, especially from biblical references, is the medieval game that was rumored to be in development by Rockstar last year. In November 2019 a rumor began circulating on Reddit about a new medieval IP, thought to be Rockstar’s next project after Red Dead Redemption 2. This game was thought to be an open-world adventure that would focus on duels and sword fights as its main mechanics. Considering that the word Judas usually refers to a kind of traitor and speculating that the project is real, it could be a revenge story for any knight.

JUDAS MAY HAVE ARRIVED FROM AN AGENT

Another remote option is that Judas may be the continuation of the canceled Agent project. Considering the time between Agent’s trademark and the discovery of Judas’ trademark, which took place about two years later. Many have speculated that Agent was simply canceled and neglected, due to the great success of projects like GTA and Red Dead Redemption.

There is also the possibility that Judas will be a meeting of the key parts that were once part of the Agent project. This is all a theory, without any proof, but that stands to some extent.

A CODED NAME

It is likely that Judas will be codenamed for another Rockstar project. Many emerging games use encrypted names to protect privacy to not be detected by leaks. Since Rockstar is so secretive as a company there is no way we know for sure. It remains to be seen what Judas will be like.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Photo Leak

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 image leaked, including the ‘ugly cameras’

These unofficial publications come from well-known accounts such as OnLeaks (in collaboration with Pigtou)

The first Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus renders have arrived just a few days before and now we have the famous distributors leaks who share the first Galaxy Note 20 images.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

These unofficial publications come from popular accounts like OnLeaks (in collaboration with Pigtou), so we can believe that they are quite close to the real version of the new device from Samsung.

The first thing you will notice about the supposed look of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus is its large and weird camera module, which most have rated as very ugly on the iPhone and other devices that are displayed with similar camera design.

According to the renders, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus has at least four camera sensors on the back. Three of them are lined up vertically, with a periscope lens that looks like an extra camera. If you look under the flash it looks like we have another camera in depth and that could be a focus module.

In other parts, the design is largely unchanged compared to its predecessors. You apparently get the same curved screen with the 6.9-inch diagonal with a hole for the selfie camera.

iPhone Jailbreak

A new jailbreak works with all the latest iPhone models

An iPhone hacker team has released a new “jailbreak” tool that unlocks every iPhone and the latest models with iOS 13.5

Ever since Apple built a “wall” to block any attempts to install apps outside the App Store or various modifications of the iOS operating system, hackers have repeatedly tried to break these restrictions, which they call “jail-prison“, hence the name “jailbreak“. ”Or prison break.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Jailbreak is carried out by hackers who find security problems in iOS and manage to overcome the limitations that Apple places on the software. Apple says these restrictions are for the benefit and safety of users.

But those who prefer to “jailbreak” say that it is these restrictions that prevent them from adapting to the iPhone according to their needs, gaining the same freedom that Android phone users have.

The new jailbreak has been launched by unc0ver team and works on all iPhone models with iOS 11 or more until iOS 13.5 which Apple launched this week. Information on how hackers have managed to build this jailbreak is scarce. But as the jailbreak finds security issues on the iPhone to be installed, Apple on the other hand tries to address as soon as possible by blocking this process.

This hack comes at a time when Apple’s powerful security image is weakening. Last week, Zerodioum, a broker who exploits and sells vulnerabilities in the systems of various companies, said it would no longer buy vulnerabilities in the iPhone system because there were so many. The motherboard reported last week that hackers had put their hands into the still unreleased version of iOS14 a few months ago, Techcrunch writes.

Security experts advise iPhone users to avoid jailbreaking because they increase the risk of hacking.

Meet the Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition made for the US Army

S20 Tactical Edition is a reinforced version to serve the military

The advancement of technology goes hand in hand with the reinforcement of the materials it comes with, after all if we pay €1000 for a smartphone it should at least be resistant.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Samsung is not satisfied with the strong composition of the Galaxy S20, so it has brought the S20 Tactical Edition, a reinforced version to serve the military. The device was commissioned by the United States Department of Defense, it can serve in long distances and difficult terrain but also has high-security encryption.

There aren’t many details about the smartphone’s interior changes yet, but it’s seen to be wrapped in a very thick case, and painted with the contours of the American military uniform.

S20 Tactical Edition
S20 Tactical Edition

The Galaxy S20 TE can be connected to army tactical radios and mission systems via Private SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and 3.5Ghz (reserved for Marina satellite communications – land.) Also, this Galaxy has a special setting on the screen, which makes it visible for night glasses as well it has a “stealth mode” as airplane mode but more extreme, which deactivates LTE, and any RF signal.

Unfortunately, Samsung does not list a price for the product, which suggests that we will probably never see it on the market for the consumer.

Facebook creates a version of Messenger Rooms for business companies

Called Workplace Rooms, the new service can host videos and conversations of up to 50 people simultaneously

Last week Facebook introduced Messenger Rooms, a video chat service and a potential competitor to Zoom. The social network will now bring this service to the Workplace platform, which is Facebook’s alternative to Slack.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

There is no limit on how long the meetings should be and you should not be part of the Workplace to join a conversation. Workplace users can create a video call through a link in Workplace Chat, Groups, News Feed, or Portal and share it in a chat, email, post or SMS.

The creators of a video call can block the entry of others in the group, remove participants while the latter has the opportunity to share the computer screen during the conversation.

The Facebook movement pushes the social network into a direct competition with Zoom. It’s also a blow to Slack that last month added the Microsoft Teams video calling option.

According to Facebook, Workplace had 5 million paid users, an increase of 2 million since October 2019. As with any other video-conferencing service, Workplace Rooms must gain the trust of users before they fall prey to privacy scandals as in the case of Zoom.
